I had a feeling that Leilua was gonna go ham this season. The way he was talking after he left the Dragons was very positive. He has a chip on his shoulder and chose to come and work with Maguire specifically because he believes. He's definitely one of the main inspirations behind our attitude shift.

Offer McIntyre another couple of years on the relatively cheap. Tough as nails and even has a pass. Great bench player.

I'd be resigning McIntyre based on what he's producing. Love his defensive technique

I could not believe the line speed after 70 minutes, the forwards were flying off the line in defence. The fitness levels were amazing

These are the games we normally lose. We played against a tough forward pack and we bullied them all night. I think people are more excited with the attitude and how we played rather then the win. I think the game against the raiders who normally put 50 on us showed us this team is here to play.

Sure did. I almost think that second half against the cowboys was a blessing in disguise. We didn’t concede a point in the second half, well done boys.

Penrith will be a different proposition altogether - big, mobile, fast and skillful with good organising halves. We'll be up against it.
