Four Nations Final...Teams, Scores etc....

Omigod the commentators were woeful again…...so bad it was painful.

And there hasnt been much said about Sheens but his fingerprints were all over that game, and you could see we changed our game a little in the second half and it worked a treat, the inside balls to the running FB,and the plays on the short blind side blew the poms away.

Brillianty coached and clinically executed in the second half by the team.

Im lovin being on top again, and bring coach by Sheensie is too cool.

If we perform next year Im expecting a few of our boys will get a look in as well......woooot!!

I only got to see a few minutes of the game. I turned on the tv and England were in front, 16-14 I think. Then Australia scored almost straight away. Then there was the ugly head clash. Then I had to go out.

I couldn't believe it when I saw the final scoreline…

I agree Simon.

Sheens deserves some credit. The Luke Lewis selection proved to be a big factor. He was very good cleaning up in defence and definatley saved a few breaks or possible tries. He was pretty good with the ball too.

Slater proved to be the best choice at fullback even though their was pressure to put Hayne there (even in the Frnech game Sheens stuck to his guns and left him on the wing).

Supposedly Sheens had them working overtime on their kick and chase game leading into the final as he knew the big English boys would struggle to turn and chase the ball against our backline superiority. That was the match winner right there.

By the way I thought Ellis went to another level in that game. His runs were more determined, got some offloads and typical strong defense early on. Loved the pass for Burgess even though it was all Burgess and the line he ran from deep.

I must admit I was shaking my head a bit at the Lewis selction but that ended up a masterstroke.

Made some crtical plays and played soooooo well.

take a chill pill…. I disagree that the Morris 'try' should have been given, so my comment IMO still stands. We more than likely would have still run away with it in the end, but it may have been closer.

i do not thik we were safe until those two injuries that soaked alot of the momentum out happened.

It would have been much more interesting to see what woiuld have happened if those two incidents didn't happen
