GW8 results are in and , WOW!! WOW!! WOW!!!!
There's massive change at the top, with Paul as tryhards (aka 851 here on the forum) now into equal second with mover Annie as Bon Vivant (aka known as Mrs tiger_one here abouts) on 437 point, one single point adrift of the new leader Wacko Jacko, on 438\. :master:
And that's not the half of it.
Andrew as Happy's Heroes (aka happy tiger on the forum) has slipped a tinsy tad to outright 5th spot on the ladder, whilst Laroche Lions (tiger_one) is now into 7th pozzie (up from 20th). :mrgreen:
Neil as St Domingo's (aka smoochefc here on the forum) has come in this round in 12th spot on 373 points! :supporter:
Now the BIG NEWS is that all these major changes in ladder positions happened in the blink of an eye, over just one round of footy, maybe a bit to do with a fair bit of luck with individual player scores etc.
BUT that's the joy of this international comp - play by teams and play by individual players in their teams vary muchly from game to game - so it's really VERY OPEN as to where the game may take anyone of us.
(Dane as Metallitigger and Blueroos for Geoff are doing it tough atm, but again, as it's said, there's lots of fantasy left in this comp!! :astonished:
Again, all things considered, this comp is proving a test of talent, luck and prayer; congrats to all for making it as close as it is.
