If you just looked at the stats we should have won, Roosters did a much better job of converting possession and field position into points.

Edit: I used NRL.com stats

With these stats.......why didn't we win then !!!!!

We’ve got too many fat, lazy KFC eating plodders defending the middle of the field. The fried chicken makes their legs slow after 15 min. We need more players on plant based diets. More carrots after training instead of bbq bacon & cheese zinger burgers.

As statistically the opposition scored more points than us resulting in a W in their column and a L in ours..there is no coming back from that

I would struggle to look my team mates in the eye dishing up stats like Packer did. Nothing short of disgraceful

Hes been disgraceful all year. People claiming he was going well were only kidding themselves.

He knocked Matterson into another orbit. For that he deserves some credit on his efforts.

If he was being paid based on KPI's Russ would be long gone.

wasn't able to watch the game, but yeah, based on the stats...............I guess that falls back onto the halves or lack there of

Our halves made more meters than the middle forwards.

Brooks 149
Benji 101

Aloiai 94
Packer 15
Huth 92
Taylor 69
Twal 96
Mikaele 78

Roosters have players that can convert half chances into tries, their defensive stats look worse than ours but they managed to cover their mistakes.

They also put in more effort, it looked like they had 3 extra players in defence.

lol..if you were able to watch the game you will realise it falls back on the inability to tackle a player or 2 which prevents them from running 50m to score TRIES..through the heart of your team

Thats it isn't it - our missed tackles and errors usually result in sides scoring 6 points every time. Whereas we never seem to be able to consistently turn other sides errors in to points or to even apply continued pressure.

Well packer is pretty damning however there looks like a few other players not putting in.
Packer, Marshall. Mybe. Reynolds
I think it we move these players on if not offer a new contract it will go a long way if having a better team.
The half’s tonight were diabolical, nil direction, game management, and I listened to Madge press conference this morning?
Mathematical a chance of making the 8?????
Come on let’s say it how it is no chance of making the 8 again, little improvement from prior year do understand working with a roster that are not capable of making the 8.
Nothing mentioned in press conference of fans booing the team at half time????
Well done Tigers supporters letting them know what the fans think of 1sr half performance.
So where do we go from here?
Priority one - tell the fans Benji is not being offered a new contract.
Maybe / Reynolds / Packer move them on earlier to free up don’t cap space.
Brooks - question if he is a long term half’s option if not move him on as well.
Players off contract - who deserves a new contract not many based upon this year.
Madge you have a year to run in your contract results will determine what happens next.
Most disappointing thing from a fans perspective you wait all week for the game and by half time you think should I watch the rest of the game.

Must admit, I was impressed with his return. It's hard to imagine what could change mentally in a few weeks.
