Fresh faces with a new coach.

What a turn up has the first few rounds been, these very unfortunate injuries that has occurred to the Tigers.
Well the most testing time for Coach Potter is upon him and not even round 8,all will be revealed in the next month or so if the coach can take the Tigers forward in this competition with the injuries incurred.
I am probably a bit more positive about the immediate future of the team as I see a genuine coach in Mick Potter and I think he CAN weave some magic with the talented but untried youth at his disposal,I am actually looking forward to the rest of the season to watch the cubs turn into Tigers! I would also like to wish young Tim and Blake the best for the future and a speedy recovery I feel for them both …Like some players /dislike some players but they all wear our teams colors when one falls they will need support.Bring it on Tigers :sign:

Well said, I think we were all thinking of dropping thes guys, not breaking them.

If Potter can overcome these adversities and he certainly is being tested a combination of a favorable injury list plus a few new faces and the juniors gaining experience my estimate would be he will deliver us a premiership in 2015 a decade on from the last. Unlike Harry Potter he can't do magic but if he gets some rub of the green I thinks his the man to deliver. If we do win it this time round I am going to take a month off to enjoy. Gee premierships are hard to come by

Although we are losing, I see a commitment in our defense that I have not seen for a long time. We haven't been throwing in the towel which is surprising considering the adversity we have been under.

I see encouraging signs from a roster that was established before the coach even arrived.

I agree. I didn't see the grit and guts the boys have been playing with this year under Sheens. I don't know what he's done, but Potter has changed the club's culture and attitude for the better, in my opinion.

Definitely, if we hadnt had so many injuries. Jeez we'd be a good team. I keep a lineup of our team without any injuries this year on my phone really hurts to see it SO decimated in round SEVEN. Need to optimise our training routines to avoid this. Ask blair what the hell storm does! :rant if he can tell us that he'll be worth the 500k

Please NRL gods. spare the rest of our team and let us returneth from injury to make a run for thy premiership 😛ray:

While we have some of these injuries….please give Jacob Miller another go.....I don't know what this kid has done. His form in the 4 games played was not that bad...he may have been a bit quiet but so was Rob Lui when he first broke into 1st grade....give the kid a go !!!!!

If Potter is given a few years he has the opportunity to mould these kids in a certain style, which would be totally different to what Sheens liked to produce.

In other words, they might have mental toughness, a clear understanding of what they do in the position they play in… this is what would make for a different Wests Tigers side.

There must be a reason for his continued non selection. Perhaps his attitude is not what it should be.

a big NO, NO, NO, to bringing back Miller. as much as every one wants the kid to make it, he just will not make the grade please get over it and move on so at least me may get one that will make the grade.
