Fui Fui...A Wests Tiger in 2011?

Ok, I know it's still only 2009, but the Wests Tigers should be talking early in 2010, to Fui Fui , as he comes off contract from Parramatta at the end of 2010.

I heard from one of his mates, a couple of weeks ago, and again recently, that he will be going all out to convince Fui to join the Wests Tigers… yeah I know he will be 31 in Early 2011, but he keeps up his fitness effort in 2010, there will be still no stopping this Prop Bulldozer.

He would be the missing link in our team, and the only player, not already at the Tigers, that the club has to try and sign.He will be the Marquee signing for 2011.

So, you heard it here first...I am predicting Fui Fui will be a Tiger in 2011

Fui to the Tigers? As much as that would be great….no dice. I'm sure the Eels management will somehow find a way to accommodate him under the salary cap and sign him to a new deal ASAP as he has been outstanding for the club and has become a crucial player to their success.

One can dream but in reality, it is best to leave that thought of him coming behind....

lets worry about our team for next year first!

Exactly. Fui Fui would be most welcome right now if he was off-contract and we could fit him in, but two years is a long time in league so I wouldn't be speculating about Fui Fui just yet.

He has been quoted as saying he is blue and gold through and through. I'd like him to see out his career at Parra.

Yeah Willow your right…..I forgot the Wests Tigers usually what until every other team has picked from the apple tree and they gather the rotten fruit on the ground at the end of harvest :unamused:

You only have to look how the WEsts Tigers are still trying to tie up players Mid October ,where as Bennett was asked weeks ago by Talkin' Sport if any more players are coming to the Dragons....his answer....that was done months ago, the planning for the next season.

Better sticky this one for future reference…..

I'm with ya...Fui Fui 2011 Make it happen WT.......

- True mayby but Bennett is also coaching a club that has never won a premiership

if we get Lote, Cayless and/or Lima we will be releasing players for the next 5 years to cope with the increasing contracts. Sheens needs a finals berth in 2010 hence why we are spending. will mean we will be broke for years to come so forget buys for 2011,12,13,14 if any of these are signed for 2010.

I wonder about how loyal Moi Moi would be now, I am sure I read somewhere where Parramatta were trying to offload him half way through last season.

after what the eels did on the last half of the season i dont think fui will be going anywhere anytime soon. he was a big part of their success and they'll do all they can to retain him into his final years of footy.

Unrealistic signing.
Fui will not leave Parra unless the y have a disasterous year and players want out. Fui is loved by Parra, both the club and there fans.

Well he does live with Tuiaki so i guess it's possible seeing they're best mates…!

Used too…...Tui, Benji and Moltzen share now...Poor Tim while Benji's on rep duty.

Tui and Fui would still be best mates.......Tuiaki off contract next year.....

**Fuifui open to Eels unless better deal comes along**

THE most popular man in the NRL has declared he's still on the market for a new contract - and Kiwis prop Fuifui Moimoi's revelation is sure to attract interest from clubs in both hemispheres.
>
Moimoi, discounting rumours he had been directly approached by English club Warrington, said he was ready to begin negotiating with the Eels over a deal to replace the one that expires in 2010\. But he has warned the club he is open to other offers and will take the best deal.
>
Eels chairman Roy Spagnolo was Moimoi's agent but to avoid a conflict of interest, Moimoi has changed representatives to Isaac Moses, who has opened talks with Parramatta.
>
Moimoi said he knew nothing of the Warrington bid but added: ''If the club wants me to stay, I will stay at the club but I also have to do what's best for me and my family. At the moment, I think it's only talk.
>
''I am happy with the club, but whatever comes up, I will have to look after my family and I will take that.''
>
Moimoi hinted he would seriously consider any strong English offers for 2011, especially given the Eels' salary cap issues. ''I think Haynesy [Jarryd Hayne] has taken all the money, so it will be hard,'' he laughed.

And people laughed ….......Alad.......

I have a mate who is on the inside of the Eels (he was involved with organising 3rd party payment agreements for Mortimer) and he has mentioned to me today that Fui Fui has indeed requested a release to join the Tigers and they are considering it. Apparently he reallyyyy wants to play with Tuiaki.

Personally I dont know anythign about the situation other then what he told me so i thought i would pass it along to you guys….

The only thing that worries me about Moi Moi is he could be another Halatau…3 good months in a relitively ordinary career if we could get him for 2010 ok, but at 30 already 2011 he could be past his best
