Can those who have watched Dylan Smith share some perspective please:
Ball playing?
Pace?
Defence?
Stands out in his current level?

Ive watched a bit of him in nsw cup and he def has stood out at the level especially for a guy who was 19 playing against men.

He seems a good all round ball playing fullback but was also making 130 meters a game. His defence was weaker last yr but he really picked up this year which makes sense being in thw nrl squad and training with them.

His statistics in nsw cup are good all around just needs a little more strength for nrl imo. An injury free off season and i think he will start at fb next yr. He is currently out injured though ans the quicker he comes back the better it will be for us long term.

Thomo will be fine just needs to fix up a few things, he hasn't played many on the trot at the back.
Let's judge him in 6 weeks after he's had a decent run of games there, he's much more of a threat than Mbye was, gets more involved and him and Benji seem to have a thing developing.

Yes I've seen players like Moylan and Slater have games like Thommo did the other night, dropping sitters and being caught out of position - it was just one off night, he's been great otherwise. It was only a few weeks ago that he had a blinder at fullback.

He is not a fullback!

Off topic, but -Did you see Moylan against the Raiders. Diabolical! Back on topic - I think Thommo is OK as a backup FB, but I am starting to have nightmares every time someone puts up a bomb! He was once as safe as houses, but now looks very vulnerable. We really can't afford to go into next year with him as our No.1.
And I quite like what Mbye is starting to produce at centre.

He has had 2 shockers in a row

Joseph Manu (off contract end of 2020) could be a fullback option if we offered him fullback level money - he’s horribly underused at the Roosters for the most part...

I mentioned this in the live game thread how well he is going at fullback

Absolutely. Let’s be realistic, we’ll end up signing another Tui. We all need to accept it.

No doubt you are right, but he would only be on $250 to $300k I am sure, just ask Greenburg

He was playing against the Dogs, I would go ok at fullback against the Dogs.
