Fullback

This time last year it was a race between Gallant and McDonnell, yet Sheens picked Moltzen for every trial giving those two first guys small stints.
No one picked Moltzen (a 19 year old who had played just a handful of games) to be the starting 1, let alone the best halfback all year!

This doesn't really prove anything except that we shouldn't rule out Sheens going for Mullaney; **he is the only specialist fullback we have!**

And even he's a half…..ask his Mum

Our fullback should be Shannon Gallant, who we could have kept for very ordinary money - a lot less than we are paying for Lote Tuquiri.

Maybe it's the weather in Paris, but the club signed Gallant for 'very ordinary money', but he found a place that would give him more, so he broke his deal with us. So you can stop this BS about Gallant being a loyalist who'd play for nothing, cause he isn't.

We could probably get Richie Williams to be our 5/8 for a lot less than what Benji is being paid or get Stuart Flanagan for alot less than what Farah is being paid.

Well who would play for nothing? You can't expect someone to play for next to nothing especially when they have a family. Also I doubt it was just about the money. He probably thought Sheens wouldn't give him much of a chance in 2010 to secure a permanent first grade spot, especially after hearing Sheens say Tuqiri could play fullback and also that we have Moltzen and Mullaney. He probably knows the Cowboys will give him more of a chance. Bowen might be playing five eighth in 2010, that's when he isn't injured. Mighty Mouse's blood will be black and white forever.
