Fulton to 5/8 maybe

I can see Potter moving benji to the centres again with Thompson to the 2nd row and Fults to 6\. Especially since Robbie is back…...thoughts ppl

The only way I think we can be competitive for the full 80 minutes is if we worry their defense. So if Benji runs it will worry them, so if centre is the go so be it. Fulton at 5/8 will allow Anasta to take more control if he feels like trying on Friday night! Not sure our defense are going to cope against 1000+ kgs of Burgess brawn, but maybe we just take our opportunities for a change and outscore them!

Why not Sirro to 5/8 instead of Fulton. At least he has played most of his football in the halves.

My abiding memory of Fulton at 5/8 is the intercept pass he threw against Easts that lost us a semi-final.

I think it is very good idea. Fulton could certainly handle Sutton and keep a certain amount of better control over Inglis. From there it would be up to our forwards to muscle up.

I'd start siro at 5/8,,,,benji floating in the centres and thompson in the 2nd row.

Don't think we can win tonite….but we can be very competitive if we really put in.

Good luck boys....don't think I'd like to tackle 4 burgess brothers.

Absolutely no way. Fulton is lucky to be on the run on side, and dare I say it, next year he may well not be. Siro at 6 for sure.

Gee if Liam isn't in the side we will leek a lot of points. unless BMM or Siro suddenly learn how to tackle

I can't see a place for him in the run on side next year either..

I think you will find that Heighno's refusal to dive on the ball after the scrum following Dwyers monster hit or the fact that Marshal, Galloway and Ellis were injured in extra time lost us the game before Fultons pass did.

The scores were level after how many minutes of extra time and Fulton threw an intercept pass and we lost the game. I was simply stating a fact.

I can recall a few intercept passes thrown by Fulton over the years. I am a big fan of Fulton, but not at 5/8.

For the record, I blame Benji for losing that semi against Easts. In the first half he threw a punch at Pearce, just as Ellis was scoring a try adjacent to the posts. The ref disallowed the try and gave Easts a penalty for the punch. The 6 points Benji cost us would have meant a 7 point lead when that scrum was packed a minute from full time, and we would have been home and hosed.
