Fults

I've always said faults is the kind of guy you don't appreciate until he's not there, but I think most people would agree.

Whenever our players are out for a week you can bet it will be three weeks before they come back & if they are out for four weeks its six or seven weeks before they are back.

good quote..you don't miss fults until he is not there. Heighno is the same for all those sledgers that are starting to get air on this forum….

This was on the DT website, so perhaps take it with a grain of salt, but it looks like he's at least some chance of playing

Five to the fore

The Top End hosts rugby league's National Under 15s tournament this weekend. Scouts have advised us to keep an eye on James Cogger, son of ex-Magpies playmaker Trevor.

4 MACKAY

Central Queensland has benefitted from AFL's myopia, which forced the Bulldogs to abandon Adelaide Oval as their first choice for Sunday's blockbuster against the Melbourne Storm.

3 LIAM FULTON

The Tigers' shabby defensive effort in his absence last Sunday was further evidence of Fulton's underestimated worth to the pack. **On track to return from injury against Newcastle on Monday night.**

2 SCAREDY CATS

For the first time in memory, Penrith shut out cameras from training for the entire week ahead of tomorrow night's local derby against Parramatta.

1 PETERO CIVONICEVA

Plays his 300th game against South Sydney tonight, an achievement that's been somewhat overwhelmed by the eligibility of his potential successor in the Maroons front-row - Sam Kasiano.

Only time I can remember Tiger99 being wrong with information was last week when he said Fulton would play. I hope he does play this week his defence is sorely missed when he doesn't play.

He's listed to come back after the bye. Give him these few weeks off, his body takes a battering week in week out as our defensive workhorse, I'm sure with this rest he'll be ready to go for the final run to the finals

We miss Fults more this season because he has been the rock whilst Ellis has been injured, Blair took some time to get in the groove and Farah has missed a few games. It's impossible to plug the holes of high quality forwards. Their experience, skills and leadership qualities make a massive difference to the side.

IMO, Fults is kind of like the Bryce Gibbs of the side this season. Nothing brilliant, works his butt off, does plenty of important round the leg tackles and tightens up the ruck defense without you even noticing until the post game stats appear!

I feel the club is getting ready for the push to the finals after the Bye. Getting players ready/rested/small issues fixed.Liam as with the rest of the non players at the moment are critical to the run home, surely the Tigers can account for the Knights this week on paper alone a far better team.

Liam has a cracked rib. Fingers crossed after the bye.

Thanks for the update 99\. Hope Fults is back ASAP but at full fitness

Make no mistake Fulton is our best defender by a country mile and close to the best in the nrl. When him and Farah are out at the same time our ruck defence realy struggles. Should be ok if Farah plays against the knights I recon. Still Fulton should have been playing soo this year.
