That side would struggle to make the Top 8.

Ricky Stuart as much I don't like the bloke has the right idea.

You need to inject some quality in the squad. At this club we see 3-4 half decent games from Wes Nquima and all of a sudden he is a world beater. Reality is he is a small winger who is hot and cold and won't ever be any different.

We got beaten by dud sides in 3 grades yesterday. All our teams have losing records.

We need to be serious here, not just talk rubbish about the kids and fairy tales
 
Was it the Cowboys yesterday we were playing or the Townsville Crocs, because they were missing half a side including their top 3 options in the halves.

They are not a dud side,but without their rep players and their record South of the boarder and in particular against our mob is not flash. It was a game they should ave not been in the contest, and they did it in a canter,because we did not test them.
 
No recruitment in the next four years?
Weve seen what one off season of no recruiting can do.

You'd be surprised to see how many of them will lose form and how many players will step up.

The Cowboys performance was substandard, but they still managed to beat us. That speaks volumes of where we are at, at the moment.
I shudder to think what the score would have been, if we played a half decent team. :astonished:
 
The Cowboys are a club which has been building for a few years now and they have great depth to cover their origin losses. We have nowhere near their depth and because of previous mismanagement we won't be in the player market until 2017\. We are currently fielding the youngest side in our history. We were without our entire starting front row including our captain who is good enough to lead NSW. We lost both of our centres, Nofo before the game and Simona during the game. Lawrence made 25 tackles as a second rower in the first half and then had to shift to centre.

These kids of ours did OK but you can't expect to see the best of them before they have at least 50 NRL games under the belt. That means not this year but maybe later next season.

Some of what has been written on this forum is disgraceful.We need to get off their backs and get behind them.
 
Does not matter what players are selected, the Tigers should of beaten that Cowboys team by 30 in a canter with the players that were on the park.It all revolves around the coach and his idiotic structures and rubbish game plans or lack off.

x2, the team we played was a top state cup side with Tuamalolo and Winterstein, nothing special at all! Moses and Brooks should have been allowed to play their game.
