I'm surprised nobody's bought it up yet but the article on the fox sports site relating to Ellis' re-signing also reveals Galloway will miss a month due to needing surgery on his troublesome hand.

Yeah not a good thing but if we are serious about wanting to make the finals this is what we have to go through.

For mine Moors to start and keep Fifita on the bench. IThis week is the young guys biggest test. Isaac Luke is the form rake of the competition and makes his living out of showing up lazy or tired defenders

Big red struggles to put many matches together. Great player when in form and on the paddock but gee he spends some time on the sidelines. We really needed him this week, on a positive side Junior Moors should now get a run on the bench now although with Sheens anything is possible

Oh fiddlesticks 😢 I had my doubts over claims that Galloway was injured as badly as this, but I'll eat humble pie on this occasion. Terrible news for the Tigers though and really hurts their chances against Souths IMO. One match of the season where the Tigers really do need some size up front and now KG is out for a month, no state of origin for him again either. Hope he mends well.

On a more serious note whay didn;t he go straight in for the surgery after the last game seeing as with the bye he would have already almost been half way through his recovery period. (or did he do that & there's still another months recovery?)

Moors is not an adequate replacement, we need another prop brought in, Moors is more of a wide running second rower playing as a prop.

He must be a chance at playing with strapping though, otherwise sheen's wouldn't have named him knowing that he was going to have a operation. I would have thought any finger injury would be ok by taping the fingers and giving the big fella a few painkillers... unless there is a chance for more damage post op.

Thats terrible. Gotta wonder why he wasn't in for Surgery on Monday atleast. I suppose he was going to try and play on through Origin. A week earlier though and he might have been a chance for game 2\. Be careful knocking him though about how many games he's played. He plays hard and gives his body a hiding. Plays injured alot too. Hard to criticise a bloke for that.

Definately need Brown dropped for some sort of forward on the bench, Gower, Makata or Dwyer even.
