Blues assistant coach Glenn Lazarus has revealed Wests Tigers prop Keith Galloway will make his debut for NSW in Origin III on Wednesday night.

Blues coach Ricky Stuart is yet to reveal the final make-up of his team for Wednesday nights blockbuster finale however his assistant coach Lazarus let slip on radio this morning.

With the final bench forward position a topic of choice, it appeared to be down to Wests Tigers prop Keith Galloway and Manly Sea Eagle Glenn Stewart, that is until Lazarus’ interview on Sky Radio this morning.

Quizzed on Galloway, Lazarus said "Yes" he would be playing and thus makes his Origin debut for the Blues.

"I'm sure he'll do a wonderful job on Wednesday night," he said.

“We’ve got Timmy Mannah as well and 'Gal' who can handle the front row and the go forward role and we’re very confident all the players will do a very god job.”

I am looking forward to seeing Big keith fighting fire with fire.
as soon as some one plants a punch on him, hoping to see him give it straight back.
this will do two things:
1\. show he will not cop any " crap" at origin level
2\. inspire him to play even better

Yerh…..seems odd Sticky was to keep it quiet then we have the asst coach on redio this morning spilling the beans.

Yeah, I'm not getting too excited, not until I see the team list before kickoff. Lazarus was quoted saying this in another article, from the same interview apparently:

Lazarus said Stuart was deliberately trying to anger the Maroons and keep them second guessing.

Hope he gets on the field and hope he shows everyone what he is capable of at this level!

Be nice to see him get a run, but I'll wait until Stuart announces the final makeup of the team tomorrow.
 
The big mystery Stuart is playing out is ridiculous, name the team and stop mucking around, he expects support but can't have the consideration of letting people know what NSW team is- as if it's going to make much difference to Qlders!! Hoping like hell the SAUCE gets a chance to serve it up to the maroons- go Keith.

Agreed! I find Stuart a bit odd, actually, and full of his own self importance.

It's ridiculous really.

Before the series, Stuart said "we will be happy to win 1 game…", and in general he was well mannered and shy in the media.
One win later, he thinks he is the king and starts playing mind games.
Sheens likes to play mind games, but seriously they are useless, what difference is it gonna make to QLD if Stewart plays or Galloway?
I really don't get it.
These mind games are stupid and nothing but something he can show off about and show that he is in-charge.
Again, just bloody pathetic.!!!

Cunno I usually agree but the way Qld will attack NSW will depend on whether NSW have a proper compliment of front rowers or not If they (NSW)are more mobile in the forwards they will play the game differently . If they pick Gal they will play another style imo

Nah, Ink, the Queenslanders won't care about Stuart's antics. They're a professional football team with a job to do. They'll just be focusing on their own game. Us, on the other hand, well we're just a bunch of 'neville nobodies' who have nothing better to do than worry about all this :laughing:
