Galloway

I would like to see Al brought in to start over Moors. I am not convinced that Junior can play in the front row and would prefer to see him used out wide.

We have plenty of edge runners > > > Need A Battering Ram who can tackle.

Who is the Best for this type of role???

Wests Tigers have lost prop Keith Galloway for the round 5 Telstra Premiership clash against the North Queensland Cowboys at Dairy Farmers Stadium on Saturday night.
>
Galloway has been ruled out with a shoulder injury. Coach Tim Sheens will decide on a replacement following the team’s final training run.
>
Galloway is hoping to return for the round six home clash against the Bulldogs at the Sydney Football Stadium on Friday, April 16.

Al Schirnack is the man you want to launch himself full speed into the opposition and tackle his ring out

My understanding is that Al played last weekend.

I have to admit I am a big Al fan. The guy makes decent yardage on every hit up. Given more time I think he would be a revelation.

Is he fit?

It appears it was Jason injured against the Vulcans and not Alan so yes he would be fit

I agree.

I expect Cayless or Moors to be given the nod though, even though I would prefer Shirnack. I think Moors is more of a second rower - so with that in mind he's a prop in Sheens' books.

big blow losing big sauce but having said that i think we can cover him with either caylees or even the other fifita would give us some more grunt up front.

Of course he is a big loss…..but did we all see Gibbsy smashing into it last week??

And more time for Fifita????Yes please.

We can cover.

Tigers to win.

It has to be Al Shirnack doesn't it?

We have some depth to cover the loss of Keith.

Schirnack, Cayless or Moors. Cayless has been ordinary off the bench and still needs a lot of work on his fitness so Schirnack or Moors for mine.

I mean, just based on form in the NSW cup. We need someone who is not only going to make metres but be a damaging ball runner. The cowboys need to know they have just been involved in some heavy contact every time one of our forwards runs at them or makes a tackle.

Al Shirnack is the man to do this. He is hostile. I dont think Moors is a hard enough ball runner to take the cowboys big fellas on. Im not actually sold on Moors in the front row.

I have doubts over why we signed this guy long term. Good player, but would have to be the softest bloke in our side.

Silly comment IMHO. This is football not tea parties. Players get injured. A player going a season without missing a game is a rarity in the modern game. When KG is the starting prop for Australia I might unearth this post.

Big loss for us.

However better to get it right now, rather then play busted all season. At least we are playing the Cows up there, might be a game for the little men, with the heat and the way they play. Lucky we are not playing a noted pack like Souths. We got belted up front last week and that was with KG out there.
