Game Day SMS

Tonight I was fortunate enough to get the Members SMS 5 minutes after the game had started to tell me the team changes. Got me thinking that I don't seem to get it every week so I had a quick look.

Last one I got was for the Panthers game @ Campbelltown, before that was the Broncos game @ the SFS, and the one before that was the SOuths game in round 6\. So thats 4 received in 7 games played. Dont think I received many before that either but I got a new phone so can't check back any further.

Is this the same for everyone else?
 
Your lucky, I haven't received one with the team list ever. I got the odd one about members day but never about the team line up.
 
Never get a game day text - totally forgot it was part of the members stuff

I did receive some texts about the fan day so they have my number. Bit disorganised really, like all the member stuff
 
Yeah about 10 mins into the game mine came through.

I don't always get them either. So its not just you.
 
Early last year it was quite good. I'd get them about an hour before kick off sometimes before you would hear it on the radio or TV broadcast. It has got much worse as other have said I got mine a good 10 mins into the game tonight. If they can't get it to the Members first then why bother as everyone already knows.
 
Tonight I got the SMS 10 minutes after kick-off but otherwise it's always been an hour before kick-off for every home game.

Im a member and havent received an SMS regarding this at all. The only SMS's i have received are relating to fan day when its on. Would be good to get these sort of messages though.
 
<plug>RoarFEED sends PUSH updates when ever the team list changes. Failing that, you can just fire up the app and see the teamlist there</plug>

At the start of the year I wasn't getting the SMS's but they have been coming in more frequently now. And yup, got my message from Tim Sheens at 7:19pm
meh, not fussed either way. Any changes have usually already been posted here well in advance

I get them all over the show, the Panthers game I got it half an hour before it started (which was ideal), against the Knights I got it after the first try had been scored. The Titans game I got it the morning after the game. I've probably received 7/12 so far, with about 4 or 5 before the game started, but seeing what other people are saying I should count myself lucky.
 
Last year got a SMS under the Stripes membership, this year upgraded to ultimate Gold and havn't seen one Game Day SMS.

Only some of the membership packages have a game day SMS included, not sure which ones, but Ultimate Gold doesn't.
 
How can ultimate gold not get the SMS!! It's the most expensive membership!! I am an ultimate gold member and am the same as everyone else. To inconsistent. Seriously though, they need to get this stuff sorted. If they're going to do something, then do it well. Ridiculous to be honest. Add to that the last fan day which was a joke, when you had to line up for an hour for signatures, and it gets a bit annoying. Considering I paid $400.00 for my membership I expect it to be a little more professional. I know the SMS ain't a big deal thanks to this great app (Roarcast), but it really bugs me when people promise you things but don't deliver. Especially if your a member which they try and drive so hard!! The delay in jerseys was another come to think of it. It's 2011 not 1981!!

I can't afford more than the Stripes membership I had in 2010 and have in 2011 and have always got the home game SMS an hour before kick-off, except yesterday when it came 10 minutes after kick-off.
 
Stuff the club updates… All I need is roar feed and the league live app 
