He is the only bloke I think could contain him... if Inglis drops to fullback to cover Slaters injury... just have him directly opposing him wherever he is.

Croker maybe a decent goal kicker - we don't need a goal kicker.
We need someone to stop Inglis as Morris does.
Croker and Hopoate are not good enough to do that by a long shot.
Someone mentioned Mansour - get a bit serious,

Hayne to the centre for a start. Then we need a winger and a fullback.
I'd say McManus on the wing and Stewart at Full back. You need experience.

Bird would not make it back in my team and I wouldn't be in any rush to get
Cordner back - Don't change a winning team more than you have to.

To answer the question - from my recollection Jamie Lyon played SOO and
got crucified by the critics - after that he would never make himself available
again. Thin skinned but his choice.

actually i would throw lewis into the centres. Origin is about defence and i reckon he is more than capable of handling G.I and he has played there before

Are u serious? If the guy turned around today and said he wants to play i would tell him do go F himself if i was Daley. Under no circumstances would i ever allow him to play origin again after how he has dogged Origin for the 2 reasons. And those 2 reasons are that he couldnt handle the criticism he received and he got outplayed everytime. Lyon is a very good first grader but has been exposed every origin and he knows it, thats why he doesnt play.

Anybody picking Hayne in the centres or on the wing has rocks in their head. He's a fullback and carved up there in game 1 so leave him there. Dugan hasn't done enough to warrant selection anyway.
I also think picking Hopoate would be a mistake.
