I think the whole of the off season should be spent on how to manage a game when in a winning psoition. I appreciate that it is hard to do with a young team, but when you start to have an eye on the clock, with 10 minutes to go, and play defensively, then that's when things go pear shaped and you need someone to take charge.
I am not sure our million dollar man is the one to do it, but at this point, I would think a "seasoned" half back, if there are any available, may be worth throwing some money at, for a year or two. God knows we've made our share of "retirees" top up their super ;-)
