Gareth Ellis in 2012

I've got an inkling next season it'll be

8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Murdoch-Masila
12\. Blair
13\. Ellis

Gaz playing up the middle third like an extra prop and shifting wider occasionally to run off the halves.

I like it, but BMM doesn't have the motor to be a starting second rower yet.

Sheens has mentioned previously over the last 12 months about shifting Ellis into the front row, and I can see some merit in the idea, but personally I'd be keeping him in the backrow and promoting Woods who probably deserves to start next year with the departure of Gibbs.

Having Ellis and Blair hitting the edges in combination with Heighno would be the best backrow in the comp IMO.

i know gareth has said he will probably finish his carrer in england but geez i hope he signs for another coupe of years. he has been fantastic for the club on and off the field and has been a crdedit to the tigers ever since he arrived. hope we can talk him into staying. Why would you want to leave here to play in the old dart. Maybr family and thats about it.

I am sure Ellis is signed till the of 2012, but i feel he has a couple of more years in him after 2012\. Ellis leave him in th 2nd row or lock as far as i am concerned as his work on the left side is great.

He has been great… probably one of the best we have seen from England. But I really cant see Ellis being at the Tigers past his current contract... The lure of home is far too great!
