Its just Gareth's style unfortunately

Blokes that play hard usually have injury issues earlier at the back end of their careers

Yes he probably will become injury prone , but we should never forget what this man did for the Tigers

He always put it all on the line every game

Thanks champion

Bloody oath. It was a shame that injury cut into his last 2 seasons with us, his time here would have been even more memorable.

Will leave massive, massive shoes to fill :frowning:

No doubt, its why i believe we only got the best out of him during 2010 when he had a relatively free run

Really only had one good season with us form and injury wise. Looks like we got a bit lucky with him going home early

Bad luck for the big guy. I wonder if it is the same foot? Feet are tricky, very hard to get good blood flow into those bones. Injuries like this can easily be career ending.

I think his form was pretty damn consistent in nearly all of the games he played for us, that is why he got our player of the year for 2 or 3 seasons straight. But yep, the injuries that he got prevented him from really showing how great of a player he could be.
