How good is this bloke…
I think hes a tigers fan.
Never bad mouths us and often tips us even for the upsets.

Fox commentary so much better than Ch9...

Im sick as a dog so at home in bed enjoying the game.
 
Mark does actually have a soft spot for the Tigers and like many people who live on the peninsula dislikes manly with a passion

He was good today. He would of ripped into us if losing dwat. Made some insightful comments like Newcastle should have conserved their energy in their comeback and not try to score on every last tackle. Had a a good call today
 
Gaz is a dill..but don't mind his commentary…he is fair to all teams...

Ennis is catching Bwaith with a bullett ...they way he has that inflection in his voice is reaching Andy Raymond proportions...

ennis is terrible if pay fox an additional monthly fee to keep him off air.

Can't agree Geo - Gasnier seems to have a good read of teams and their strengths and weaknesses. He obviously has a weak spot for the Dragons but tries pretty hard to be fair.
 
I know Gasnier personally legend of a bloke. Doesn't say a bad word about anyone. Likes teams that play football and don't wrestle and we fit that mould.

Actually, interesting that, about wrestling.. Because for the first time i noticed yesterday us trying to work a player to face the wrong way after being tackled to avoid a quick play the ball

If you get a chance to watch the reply pay attention to it, i noticed it on a number of occasions how we worked the ball player, especially in the middle of the filed .. 2 blokes tackling and a 3rd joining in to face the player towards his own goal

Ennis is terrible. He tipped Leutele for an origin spot the other day.
 
The two top callers IMO are Warren Smith and Vossy. I don't mind that new Ch 9 bloke Matt Thompson and Sterlo and Gould have quality insights into tactics. But Ch9 overall just too twee, almost trying too hard to be polished and losing that genuine football calling passion that people seem to want, and see in Fox.

But Fox's colour callers are pretty ordinary. Gasnier is better than he used to be but I run for the hills when there are breaks in the games and they go back to the studio - Shirvo, Jessica, Bwaith, Ennis, Kimmorley… barely a modicum of talent between them.

Agree with all of that. Shirvington is incredible bland and speaks in nothing but cliches - terrible host. Ryan Phelan was great when he had the gig a few years back, not sure why they punted him.
Yvonne is pretty good as a studio host as well, but as you say, the 'experts' are pretty much all awful.

I really don't like Brenton Speed as a caller either.
