According to his Twitter still 5-6 weeks away from playing but at least there's a time frame on him now.

FYI he returned to training a couple of weeks ago but he just mentioned that ice will be his best friend for the next 5-6 weeks so I assume that is what he believes is the projection on his foot being fully healed.

I'm excited about seeing Gavet in action. There is a fair bit of hype around him. Hope he get back soon and starts his season off with a huge game, give all us poor suffering WT fans something to be hopeful about. Good luck big fella.

hype around him? how good is he? never seen him play nor heard too much about him. can he put out 100m each game for us?

Gavet was one of the best forwards in the NZ Warriors Under 20s premiership side a few years ago that were near unbeatable. If given a chance he will make some of our forwards look hopeless. In the shape our side is in he'd be starting next to Woods if he was fit.
