**This is a general notice for all users of this website.**
A couple of days ago an automated email was sent to any users who hadn't used their account in a while. This was intended to be a friendly reminder that the account was still registered but had no activity attributed to it. Instead, the message included the following:
We have recently written to you with regard to your lack of participation/activity on WestsTigersForum.com.
>
There has been no change in activity from your part since that mail. We would like to make you aware that we consider deleting your account as you appear to be no longer interested in the community of WestsTigersForum.com.
Unfortunately the automated process was designed by a German computer programer who had a poor choice or words when composing the reminder email, as well as the misguided assumption that all forum administrators like to delete their users if they don't log on for a while.
If you received this email, can I first appologise for the abrupt tone of the message and assure you that, contrary to what was stated, your account will NOT be deleted. I can also assure everyone that the content of the email has since been altered to instead be the friendly reminder that it was intended to be.
Again, I appologise to everyone who received the email and may have been affected by its rude tone.
If you did receive that email, can I also suggest that you log-in to your forum account and take a greater part in our community.
