My condolences to Geoff's family and friends. I didn't know him outside of this wierd online universe, but feel like I do in some way. I feel like the tigers have lost something with this sad news.

this is truely a great loss.

I've only met him online but form every interaction he came across as a true gentleman, passionate, genuine and thoughtful with everything he spoke about. This speaks to his character, humanity and absolute quality as a human.

My thoughts to his family and friends - remember the good times, I'm absolutely certain there were many.

Just got back on the forum and spotted this thread and have to say that I am in shock.

Although I have never met Geo I felt as though I knew him and loved his humour,sharp wit, knowledge of the game and ability to control situations when they were getting out of hand here on this forum.

Without a doubt the best and fairest mod that you could ever have on a forum anywhere and the way he handled some of the child like antics that regularly were to be found on here it doesn't surprise me to find out that he was a teacher.

All I can do is offer my sympathy to all his family and friends and judging by the quality of the man, he will be sorely missed by many.

Just read this news and am truly shocked and quite devasted. I've been visiting this forum for 10 years and Geo was always one of the few that I always took note of whether I agreed with him or not. Rarely long winded but balanced and thought provoking. Never met him but felt like I knew him.
To those who did know him on a more personal level my deepest condolences to you and his family and I feel terribly sad that he won't be around to see this club turn around as a truly dedicated supporter. A very bad week and sad day.

I'm in shock and saddened by this horrible news. Geo was a good man. He was the catalyst for me being a mod and I always felt I let him down by quitting. Met him once at Campbelltown sports ground and he was quiet and unassuming. Very open about his life, struggles and his family. May he RIP. Condolences to his family and friends.
