In light of the injuries we encountered last week it seems GEOFF DANIELA will be getting a call up to replace injured center Chris Lawrence, probably for some time too if all reports are correct.

In this thread we discuss how great our depth is and how Geoff Daniela will slot back into first grade, where he doesn't look out of place at all.

I think he will not disappoint and do his best and _PROBABLY_ nab a few more tries. He is a genuine first grade player that is over looked by the teams he's played for because there are better centers ahead of him, but when given the chance he will always try his hardest. He is one classy player.

A great addition to any team, he maybe small but not where it counts…. the heart, of course. Can't wait to see him back in first grade and tearing it up with all that speed and skill he possess.

Totally agree Demps. Has never let us down in all NRL games he has played in. I was impressed by his improved defence last year. No one can forget his 3 tries against the Warriors.

Brown also has never let us down and will also be a welcome addition to the NRL side.

Demps what side do you think you would play Daniela and Brown left or right ??i think i would prefer Ahsyford marking SKD personally so maybe switch them imo

No doubt SKD is the star of their backline and I think with Ayshford's size he'll mark up against him really well & I think if we are to win this game, Ayshford will be close to best on field.

Utai shouldn't have too much trouble defending against little Leilua, hopefully. Mitch Brown & Geoff Daniela I believe will go well against Aubs & Carney who I personally don't rate that high as players.

Will be interesting to see, however I believe this is the most logical thing to do.

I'm not sure what this means, he will be starting & playing the 80 as Cultured Bogan said.
I was under the impression Moltzen would be playing #7 as Lui may be out….?
 
Bit of confusion on my behalf… Just read the named team. Interesting.
Maybe come game day. Geoff Daniela will start with Moltzen off the bench, never know.
Interesting to see how Miller goes, however I agree with CB that Geoff Daniela is safer than Moltz.
Moltz VS SKD, he'll get the Blake Ferguson treatment all over again.

Yes, I'm a bit worried about that happening also. Hopefully, there will be a switcheroo between Daniela and Moltzen before the game actually starts.

On a side note, Demps - I noticed on your profile that it says you only joined this forum in January this year, yet you have somehow managed to rack up over 400 posts! That has to be some sort of record doesn't it?

and Yessir, I love to contribute my opinion on various topics regarding the wests tigers.

Back on topic, It'll be interesting to see if the team named will be the actual one taking the field this weekend. I'm siked to see how Daniela and the other youngsters go.
 
I think it will end up being Moltz at Half, Daniella at centre (not sure which side) and Miller on the bench, could be wrong tho
Once again not understanding the anti moltzen vibe around the place

Totally agree I reckon Moltz will play about 55 minutes and Miller will play 25 but if he doesn't its fine we will dig deep and find a way to win . Injury free weekend would be nice footy gods Pick on Saints or Dogs OK

If you catalogue all Demps' posts, I'm sure you will find that 50% of them have at least a reference to Geoff Daniela in them. :laughing:

I don't think there is an anti-Moltzen vibe Goose, it's moreso the fact he is being named in the centres in front of an actual centre when he is strongest in the halves.

I agree with you though, I believe Moltzen will start the game at half and Geoff at left centre and Miller will get a run depending on Moltzens fitness, and our position in the game.
