On the Mitchel lashing out with his foot on Garner incident, I thought the bunker could make a call on these if the Ref misses it?
It was pretty clear.

The bunker can pretty much overrule any on-field decision WHEN THEY WANT TO. If the roles were reversed I would be extremely surprised if they didn't do exactly that. Some clubs are favoured, others get mugged week after week.

I don't think any ref is deliberately biast or have an agenda, some are just easily influenced by home crowds, big name players and an underling leaning towards the teams expected to win. South's were whinging at the ref every bloody tackle.

Onto Latrell. He is an incredible player and pretty much saved the game for the bunnies. But so grubby. There were at least 10 unsportsman like incidents. Some small some big, but all dirty. Anyone notice him sliding into noffa with his knees after the intercept i think it was. Constantly grabbing the markers ankles in the play the ball. Right up there with Slater and Smith.

Agree with all this except for the first sentence.
IMHO certain referees are biased for sure. Have been for a while now. Certain teams getting massive leg-ups every single week can't just be dumb coincidence. And certain teams being on the receiving end (us and the Bulldogs come to mind) every single week reeks of ref bias.

Fair. Bias was a poor choice of words. That's exactly what they are? But not deliberately imo.

In my honest opinion, yep, I believe the refs are biased towards certain teams.
If we had access to a detailed spreadsheet of certain referees performances against certain teams I'm pretty confident it would make for grim reading. It's impossible that it's coincidence.

I'm not saying the refs are biased, but they game manage to what they think is the expected result and for entertainment.

It happens in all sports.

My favourite sport - NHL - a referee was finished up a few weeks ago for saying exactly that.....and he forgot he was miked up. Unfortunately he was a good ref, but revealed what everyone knows anyway.

Wow, that's criminal.

There were some flat out disgraceful calls last night.

Someone has already mentioned the obvious slowing down of the ruck that commentators called out twice but Sutton missed. There was also Cook milking the penalty, Graham's knock on, Latrell's double dog shots and that is just off the top of my head.

It is not just Sutton though. Who wants to be that Musgrove & Garner will face less time on the sidelines than Latrell?

That's not ever going to happen while we are playing a team favourite to win
Besides souths need to win at all costs and both the ref and bunker officials will see to that don't you worry
Who do we as Tigers supporters think we are to expect anything other than that
Now we fans are just expected to shut our mouths and let this continue to happen so the big favourites can can continue to win at our expense
What are you thinking
Don't you understand how this all works
We simply don't have the influence or money to compete

The amount of crap Lattrell gets away even with the cameras on is horrendous, imagine if he was playing park footy- how grubby he would be.

Hope someone kicks his head next game.

Bring back the buffer to sort these cheap shot merchants out

should be BIFF dam spell check

At some stage you have to pay the 10 grand and come out with both barrels firing. That ways it gets maximum attention and maybe next time the grub is referring our game he might not ride the top weight hands and heels over the line.

Remember Fulton’s cement truck comment with Harrigan, he said later it was the best money the club ever spent

This ^^^
Until McGuire blows his stack and cops the 10k we will forever be shafted by the refs ...

The LM (the biggest suck in the NRL) elbowing Nofoaluma's head deserved at least 10m and arguably a send-off, as it would happen to the WT players!

A video from reddit on Latrell's grubbiness: https://streamable.com/7l474l

What a germ. Hopefully karma comes calling for this maggot like it did last season. His knee drop onto the back of Garner's legs was a definite dog act, he and Garner both knew that straight away.

The fact Latrell has 3 seperate charges from the game (2 ignored by Sutton and his crew) shows just how inept his decision making was in the game.
We will probably get him refereeing us for the next 5 weeks.
