You don’t need to hire his older brother to know what he lets go. The cowboys took advantage of being offside and throwing forward passes on Saturday.

Yeah but that was Chris Suttoooon

They’ve gotta be related ?

Sutton straight as a arrow????The guy is bent as a dogs hind leg, must be, only explanation for his terrible refereeing. Do they keep stats anywhere for the amount of calls that get challenged that come back in the teams favour???Suttons stats would be terrible.

Any Sutton in the refereeing ranks is one to many

The stupidity in this thread is next level. Their is no problem with 1 working at a club and one being a ref anymore then their is any ref working at a club. They are professionals and generally good blokes doing a hard job very well. I yell at them as much as anyone but after the 80 mins i know if we lose my team wasnt perfect and the accusations of cheating and bias made in the crap article and on here verge on and most likely are slanderous and could be taken to court.

yeh a bit of an overreaction everywhere to this. They're grown individual independent men.

The NRL has concerns that's enough said

Just like the Roosters have a reputation for cheating the salary cap, the referees have a reputation for being bias. There's been questions over their integrity for decades, if not longer.

This is an obvious example of a potential perceived conflict of interest, and is a no-brainer that it should be a problem. I am actually surprised that the NRL were awake to it. That's at least a plus.

Problem with the Sutton mafia us they are classic KPI referees. No feel for the game but can adjudicate a game within an inch of its life against ridiculous black and white indicators.

So true - if only the powers above could feel the same way.
