Mate you cant honestly think braith anasta is a good option at halfback. He is a has been, a bench player at best. And what do you mean by behind the scenes dealing going on? Between clubs you mean. Roosters say to tigers please take braith, we know he,s past his use by date but you can have him cheap. And tigers say yeah ok no worries, he,ll fit right in with our has beens blair and fulton. :mrgreen:

Old Man Anasta..cmon Harry how many weeks do you think he will play half ? and then what ? back to Miller or try someone else …looks like Sheenism to me

And what does it take for Blair to play 2nds..I know he gets paid top dollar but does that mean he has to play top grade..( maybe he has a clause in his contract )..McDonnell could do anything.

I disagree, he's a fairly similar player to Benji - plays off the cuff and is dangerous when running the ball. We need someone to control the structure and direct play
 
I dunno. We could do worse. He just needs to play a Jeff Robson to Todd Carney style role. Control, kick and get it to Benji. But without forwards I doubt it will make much difference what our halfback does.

Walsh isn't going anywhere. Gus and Cleary are a fan and while they have aimed for Cronk and Thurston, they won't let go off Walsh for nothing.

Yes he is similiar to Benji ,but about 7-8 years ago version of Benji

But he would be far cheaper as well
