Getting rid of Ryan was the correct decision.

If you wanted any justification to whether getting rid of Ryan was the correct decision, then watch the u20 games from today. Nofolomu and Koroibete are the future. Re-signing any winger for 3 years would be stupid. Hence why Ryan said "I couldn't be sure at the end of next season that they wouldn't try and offload me" (or something like that on the footy show). Keeping Ryan for 3 years would just mean we have to either not pick Nofolomu for 3 years, or have to pay to keep a guy like Ryan running around reserve grade. What one do you want?

Re-signing Ryan would only hold back these two. When I look back at the three tries Koroibete scored today, the first one I don't see Ryan/Tuquiri/Utai skipping out of Tuivisa-Sheck….in the second one I don't see Ryan/Tuquiri/Utai having the legs to outpace Tuivisa-Sheck.... And even that last one which he set up for Miller, I don't see either of our wingers bursting through. And Nofolomu had a blindrer and again I don't see any our wingers scoring the one he did.

Face it as tough as it is on Ryan it was the correct decision to not keep him. While Tuquiri shouldn't be kept its a different issue when its only for a year.

He jumped imo. Nofo and Koro are just too good to be ignored or pushed back. Fair enough, didn't drag the dirt and gets to earn his living playing football for few more years. Good luck to him. Hopefully after he retires he'll identify with our side, at least sometimes.

Spot on agree with everything you said. I wasn't fussed at all when i heard the news , it mean't that our young wingers will get more of a chance.
I remember reading that Nofo resigned with us for 2 more years correct me if I'm wrong.

Nofoaluma was the better all round player today i thought but Koroibete has the x factor. Potentially a VERY exciting wing pairing for us in the future.

Teddy was (we all know how that went), Koro was unfortunately held back by Lote, and Utai deservedly kept his place in the team. In reality Koro was the only one ripped off, and still got a chance to prove himself. I'm hoping that Nofo is blooded a little later to be honest, because if they all were thrown in come round one, we'd have the most inexperienced back line in history
