Any one have any?

Not sure if any one is familiar with the Lake Macquarie area.
Early one morning, around 2 AM….'
A friend and I walked up the the 24 hour Marks Point service station, Mobile at the time.
To get some late night snacks, piesand Oak milks of course.

On the way back to my old place ( Blacksmiths ) we walked past Areo Pelican, an old air port that isn't really used anymore.

We heard foot steps behind us, looked behind us and there was nothing.
Continued walking and heard then again, looked around no one around.

For a third time, began walking and heard foot stops again.
We then ran for our lives all the way home.
 
Bit of a long one so stick with me

Many years ago I was fortunate to live next to my best friend For about 3 years

My best friends Mum got cancer

When my Dad remarried on the day of the wedding she told my Dad she would be out of her wheelchair within 6 weeks

6 weeks to the day she passed away

Both my best mate and his older brother who I got on with as well would stay over a lot when their Dad was having issues and working shifts (as you can imagine )

About a year late their Dad took a job in South Korea and both the boys moved with him , he worked at the RAAF base as an engineer

This is when things started getting weird ,Dad would quite often at night look out of their bedroom and they could see the 3 bedrooms directly from their bed looking down the hall

Dad would quite often comment that he thought he could see a dark shadow outside my bedroom and never thought anything of it for a while until he mentioned it some friends one night

One of the friends suggested it could of been a spirit and why the spirit would only be outside my room

They put 2 and 2 together and wondered if it was the friends Mum looking for the boys

Next time Dad saw the shadow he spoke out loud telling the shadow what had happened and that the family had moved

He never saw the shadow again

I don't know about others , but are you freaked out every time you go in a room that you know someone has died in ??
 
My girlfriends aunty is a medium who communicates with spirits. I know that might sound crazy to some, but i take it with a grain of salt. I find the whole afterlife thing pretty interesting after talking to her. She says me and my girlfriend were married in a past life and that we lived in Pompeii and died in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Again, not saying I believe it, its grain of salt stuff, but i tend to be a pretty open minded sort of person.

I haven't really had any experiences with ghosts. I don't think they're anything to be scared of, its not like they can hurt you. People that are alive are more dangerous.
 
Similar to Demps story. Several years ago a girlfriend and I were camped in the desert near a spring. It was a sort of oasis with low trees and a bit of green vegetation in an otherwise dry landscape. There was only one other lot camping nearby, a grey nomad couple in a caravan camped about 100m away.
My girlfriend had gone to bed in a small tent we had, and I had stayed up sitting in the car reading through to finish a book. She called to me, spooked by hearing footsteps. This happened a few times but I never heard anything. I finally gave up on the book and went to bed.
Almost immediately I heard the footsteps. I couldn't work out who would be around in the middle of nowhere. I grabbed a torch and went out for a look. Nothing there. No noise. Then right in front of me I heard them again but definitely nothing there. No Idea what it was but didn't get a lot of sleep.
 
A couple of years ago at work had a MVA patient which in medical terminology is (Motor Vehicle Accident) come in for Resus , the chap hit a tree on his Motor cycle , when he came in had a neck brace and deep gashes to his face , so i commence Resus on the Patient on the Doctor's call , i'm on his Chest for 35 minutes working on him and sweat pissing out of me, we lost him twice throughout the 35 minutes and i thought in my head this guy is gone, from my experience doing so many Resus (had a weak pulse), the Doctor called last round or he would be pronounced Dead if unsuccessful on the next Round , Adrenaline is inserted intravenously and here i am going for it with cramped up shoulders and sore back , 2 minutes into it mind you i felt one of his ribs crack while i was at it , the CNC screams " i have a pulse DOC" while she had her fingers feeling the Femoral Artery , we got him back with a good pulse and the patient survived the ordeal .
But this is where it get's freaky , 3 Days later i took a Patient to the Orthopedics Ward from E.D and take the Patient to a 4 Bedder Bay in there , while i was trying to get this Patient from E.d Comfortable in his new Ward and Pat sliding him to his new Bed i noticed a Patient there kept starring me out with this smile on his face ( i thought in my head Weirdo?) as i was about to leave from the handover to the nurse the Patient that kept starring me out sticks his hand out to Shake it , i said "how you going mate ? all Good "? then he says to me " i want to thank you for saving my life " , i said to him sorry but i don't know what your on about ? he said to me "i was the Patient in the Resus room that had the Motor Bike accident and you Resuscitated me" , it was coming to me now , the problem was that he had that much blood around his face i wouldn't remember him , Then i said hang on how do you know it was me ? he said " i saw myself in the Resus Room above youse all , working on me and remember your face with the sweaty shirt on your back working on me " , I said get out of here …. he said "no seriously i saw my mum on the other side who she has passed away many years ago and told me it wasn't my time to go back ". I'm telling you i had hairs jumping out of my arms and my back .
I never used to believe in after life but after this episode made me think different .
Talk about Freaky!!!
 
My daughter freaks me out sometimes. At the age of 2, she insisted that she used to be a boy, but she died. She said a crocodile killed her when she was 4 years old. I was thinking, that's a pretty creative story, maybe a vivid dream? But it is a story that has stuck with her for almost 2 years now. Every now and then, she brings it up. And the story is always the same.

Also, a friend of my son seems to have seen ghosts. His family lived in a large old house. He was only quite young, but he would totally innocently ask his mum about who the old man is who lived in their house. He never thought of him as a ghost, just the old man who lived there.
 
Got a couple

When I was 18, I remember waking up paralysed one night on my back. I thought I saw the curtain move above my head and then I looked towards my doorway, there was a figure standing there, human shaped with a purple aura. Couldn't scream out, couldn't move anything except my eyes.

Can't remember how long it lasted for, but I eventually moved and went back to sleep.

Happened again the following night, except I was on my side. Managed to roll over and instead of a human figure standing at the door, there was a head just poking around the corner.

Fairly freaky. As I found out later, hallucinations are common with sleep paralysis, which is basically your mind has woken up from sleep, but the body hasn't as yet.

Had a good one at my old work place. I was doing security at a Uni, drove past a building and there was a woman standing inside an entry foyer, black hair, dressed in black. Thought that was odd as I didn't think any staff were on site in this particular building, so I drove back around and parked out front. No one was around, inside or out.

I went inside, the place was warm and then it felt like I was getting punched in the chest with a cold fist….......it's the only way I can describe it. It wasn't something that was physically knocking me back or anything. I went for the elevator to go upstairs.........and the "punching" got quicker. Heh I ended up saying in a loud voice "look, I'm just securing the building and then I'm gone". The punching pretty much stopped.

Funny how the mind works, but what stumps me with this one is that I wasn't thinking about spooky stuff prior, seeing the "woman" in the foyer........I just can't explain it.
 
My Aunty showed me a tape years ago that literally made the hair stand up on the back of my neck.

We had a family shindig and this is how it started. My grandma was telling us how her mum used to love to play practical jokes on everyone and hide things in random places.

Shortly after she had passed away my nan had lost her wedding ring. She looked for weeks trying to find it and she was convinced it was gone. She said a month or so went by and the neighbour knocked at the door one day and asked if she was missing a ring? She lived in townhouses. Nan said she was stunned. The neighbour had found the ring literally on top of the garbage bin lid. She was convinced it had something to do with her mum.

None of us kids believed ghosts or spirits were real, and laughed it off. Then my aunt said to come and watch a tape.

It was a video someone had taken of a Christmas party held in a function room of a company my uncle used to work for in the city when he was working in banking, back when they were in their late 20's. She didn't tell us anymore and just told us to watch. She fast forwarded a while and paused it on a certain guy at the party, she said to keep our eyes out for him. After a while some police officers are seen in the clip telling everyone they cannot leave the function as there is has been an incident downstairs. As the police leave the room and close the doors we could clearly see the guy she had paused the tape on standing right behind the cop as he closed the doors to the room.

The freaky part was, the reason the police were there was because the guy who was standing behind the cop had gotten a bit drunk and tried to slide down a set of stairs outside the room and fallen and died when he hit the bottom. He was dead. He wasn't doing anything, was still wearing the same clothes, but just standing there.

When we realised I swore I would never doubt the potential of paranormal beings ever again. I was scared for weeks.

Apparently someone put the tape online so
It is probably findable.

Has anyone heard of the Lemon Tree Passage ghost?
 
At about midnight my father was in the middle of a heart attack. While we were keeping him calm and waiting for the ambulance to arrive I was looking out the bedroom window and in the reflection of the window and the mirror near the bed I could see my grandmother (my fathers mother who died 4 years earlier in that house) standing by my Dad's bed holding his hand.

He then told us he was feeling better and the pain in his chest was going. Ambulance arrived 3 minutes after that and he was fine.

In the same house my wife who had never seen a pic of my grandmother woke up one night and said she saw an old lady standing at the foot of our bed smiling. The next day I showed her a photo of my grandmother and she went white and said that was who she saw.
 
I've got a few.
The wife's grandfather passed away a few years ago. My son was 3 at the time. We visited him in hospital and as we were leaving and walking out of his room my son turned to the missus and said " I want to go back and give pop a hug." That might not seem weird but my young bloke had only met him twice and never really showed him any affection. It took about an hour for us to get home, as we walked in the door the phone rang and we were told he had passed. I truly believe my son knew he was going to go.
This is where it gets weird. The wife had a photo of him on the fridge door. I also stick bills and other crap on there as well. The wife opened the back door, a massive gust of wind came through the house and blew everything off the fridge except his photo.

I worked in property management for a few years. I was doing an ingoing report one evening at a vacant townhouse testing all the lights etc. I would turn a light on and off, leave the room and go to the next one. I would then walk back past a room I had done and noticed the light on, thought I'd forgotten to turn it off and didn't give it a second thought. But then it kept happening, I'd turn a light off, leave a room, then when I went past it was on again. The lights never came on when I was in the room. I got pretty freaked out but when I left walked all through to ensure eveything was off. Left and as I was walking up the driveway I turned around and saw the upstairs bedroom light flick on. I didn't bother going back in.

Thing was no one would ever stay longer then 6 months in this place. As soon as the lease was up people left immediently. I never asked anyone why and no one mentioned anything. But having 5-6 tenants in 3 years in a nice townhouse in a popular area is very unusual.

Also my dad has an unreal photo. He was in Greece at some ruins (can't remember where) and there was a dog running around, jumping, having the time of its life. Dog didn't seem to be with anyone and he thought it was acting weird as it seemed to be playing with itself. He took a few photos as a tourist does.

When he got back to the hotel he and mum where looking over them and couldn't believe what they saw. In one of the photos you can see the dog standing there and next to him kind of see through is another dog! Dad swears there was no other dogs there as all the tourists where commentating on how weird it looked that this dog was playing with an imaginary friend.

I don't know exactly what this is yet , but I thought I would mention it

My Mrs has a distant cousin who lived in Cairns and died a couple of months in a tanker accident

It was pretty big news up their as there were some strange happenings and even the AFP were brought in at one stage from what we were told

Late Saturday night my Mrs received a facebook message from her ,something random about an album cover …...........

I don't know much about facebook , but unless you have a password you can't access it , is that right ??

I heard a commentator describe Benji Marshall's defence the other week as 'rock solid'. Sheesh that is as paranormal as I've ever heard.

I heard a lot about these out of body experiences. I am normally quite skeptical but these I genuinely believe.
