That was not a typical Gibbs performance im sorry he has never played that good in a long time. Yes he always does alot of work but tonight he did alot of work and also had a bit of impact some real strong runs. Was best on ground when he was on.

I've been a critic of Gibbs over the past seasons because I don't believe he plays the conventional role of a front rower in that he is not our main "go to" man when we need metres, but his work rate in defence makes up for this and is an aspect that will be missed at a club who is screaming out for good one-on-one defenders.

I'm having second thoughts about whether the Tigers should have kept him and I'm starting to think we should have.

Gibbs goes missing when the metres are required. I think his more of a defensive back-rower then front rower, but hasnt got the speed in attack. I would of liked him to stay but only as a back rower and we have enough of them. We need metre eaters in the front row
