Glad for the 2 points but.......

I dunno, I'm happy for not having to experience near heart attacks or the bitter disappointment at another 'souless' performance - I'll take the 2 points and the rest any day.
 
Unless I have a sportsbet or multi going, watching Wests is the only time I watch Football now. Rugby League has become so boring. Without monetry involvement I can't watch games anymore.

The only time games get exciting now is when spite creeps into a game.

Although had we won the last 2 games, I would have been happy for the needed break for the guys to re-focus. Considering our last hit out, they need to re-focus anyway.

Know the feeling, but enjoyed the Sharks giving it to Brisbane on Friday. And what makes it worse this weekend is the memory of the last Tigers game. Anyway, out to see Panthers beat the Bunnies this arvo and help us out. (I know, not much of a chance…)

watch 7mate whenever the afl is on.. the build up is soo massive, no matter who is playing. at least a 30 minute pre game entertrainment.. experts talking etc.

when the team wins, they show the team song played out loud on the megaphone on tv.. really pumps you up at home..

compare this to the 9.30 game on ch9 and the sunday arvo footy… they name the team squad while the game is on.. have 5 minute ad breaks and name MOM while the game is on. ch9 treats RL very badly compared to ch7 which treats afl very nicely.
 
I love league in general - and can easily watch all games on a weekend - the only thing stopping me is the mrs!

They really do need to look at the way they broadcast the Sunday game. It's painful to watch with all the ad breaks and like you said the hasty nature of the beginning and end

lol i was watching rabbits vs panthers when during ad breaks i switched to afl… afl had 4 ad breaks (4 goals) then i switched back and the ad break was still runnning. i lol'd
 
Cant believe how pathetic nines coverage is.

When i watch the Sunday game i feel like im getting escorted out of a bar after last drinks…..one minute yerhavin a blast and its all over.

Its woeful.

you get better service from the livestream. - at least then you don't get ushered into NINE NEWS.
 
What's stopping Channel 9 from telecasting the Sunday game live like Friday night? Surely not their precious footy shows?

Thanks, ck. It would probably rate even better if it was live! As for the news, people are gonna watch it anyway, regardless of whether there is a decent show preceding it. From what I've observed, most people have their favourite news channel and will switch over to it anyway.
