Rob Stokes would be a very good choice. He is a liberal not a conservative.

A lot of Councils merged. Stokes is a town planner and a moderate which wouldn't help in Cabinet with things like mergers.

He only wants international borders opened up not for travel, but to let in hundreds of thousands of migrants to flood into Australia to push up or at least support house prices and for cheap labour and fee paying students many of which speak little English and have no special skills.

There was also land dealings around Badgery's Creek also I believe.

I thought a lot of that land was owned by a pair of brothers, one of who is doing time. It's unbelievably fortunate they just happened to have significant landholdings in that area.

If you have time to research the “Bathurst Orange Development Corporation” where all the land for a proposed “new city” between Bathurst and Orange was purchased by a very nifty premiere and his side kick through a shelf company and then resold the the corporation at highly inflated prices.
The dream of a new city between Bathurst and Orange was nothing more than a political stunt to reap millions from the tax payers if NSW.
