Going to the game

Homebush isnt that bad,

real easy in and out.

General Admission is OK though can be far if the play is in opposite corner, then theres the screens.

So, I was considering going to this game. It would be my first time attending a Wests Tigers game, which is for a number of reasons. The game fits perfectly into my schedule. Anyway, I was wondering if people who have been to ANZ before can give some advice or information regarding seating and anything else or, if you have any opinions about this game. Since it's an away game is there a preferable place to sit? Is there anything I should know about the transport to the stadium?

Where on the coast are u from Tacky?

The fish and ship shop at Budgewoi next to the boat shed is choice.

You really shouldn't have an ANZ Stadium game as your first ever memory….. It's a bludger of a venue unless it's a big game.
A day game at CSS or LO would be my choice

You beat me to it Ink. Tacky you should really save your first game for an afternoon on the hill at Leichhardt Oval. Nothing beats it. I'd try and wait if you could, it'll really be worth it.

Train to Central then Train to Olympic Park puts you at the Door…Tickets Concession in Away GA Bays are $19...

You can plan your trip here... https://transportnsw.info/trip#/

Tickets.... http://premier.ticketek.com.au/events/DRAG1317/venues/AUS/performances/EDGN0000017DA/tickets

Thanks for that mate. Now I just need decide if it's worth it. I might wait to see the team lists.

Why catch a train? Doesn't the BANDWAGON stop at the Coast?

Are you calling me a bandwagoner mate?

If you are, I'll have you know that I've been watching rugby league my whole life. I've supported the Tigers for over 12 years. I'm so passionate about the Tigers that once when I was 9 and the Tigers lost to the Titans I actually had an 'overflow of emotion.' I'm as much a Tigers fan as anyone.

Don't listen to him Tacky. It doesn't matter how long you have followed the team. A Tigers fan is a Tigers fan.

I would love to but, unfortunately my schedule doesn't really allow me to plan things that far in advance. Besides it's been over a decade so any game will do at this point. I'll try and get to a Leichhardt game though.

I was hoping to go to that game as well. Though our recent form against the Knights makes it really risky.

At least we no longer have to worry about Sims kicking a second ball at one of our players this year. Sheesh.

Nah. Risky as in, I'm gonna have to take public transport back and if we lose I'm already going to be in a really bad mood.

I think most of us will be up on Level 4 East, that's where the away members are banished.

I'm not a member so I'll probably have to sit with the peasants and the simpletons.

Is that GA Sabre? I've got Gold res at ANZ, and I'm front row at home games and level 4 away. Thought it was all the members who got sent upstairs.

Scored some seats in an Outside Box..should be fun…Wests Tigers by 10..
