They were never mustardy. Always orange. This photo isn't true to the actual colour. I still have my '70s jersey and it is orange. Not the same orange as the current jersey, but orange nonetheless.

No, Maggy. It was a supporters jersey, mate. Unfortunately I wasn't a "Leaguey" in terms of playing - going to a Union school, that's the code I played. But I was always a Balmain support, going back to about '68.
