Ha ha, I've got a beautiful lady that keeps me on the straight and narrow mate.
What was your home course again tiger?
Moss Vale Golf Club.....In the Southern Highlands Of NSW....
We have had the Ladies PGA pro-am a few times Laura Davies played as did Mianne Bagger(she is the trans lady golfer) as well as about 40 of the top lady golfers in the world...
I have played in 4 of them over the years...
Course is an 18 hole championship course.....with guest hotel Dormie House for food, beer and accommodation on the grounds...walk out the back door onto the 7th tee....Im glad you have a wonderful lady mate...I might have to book one of the penthouse playmates myself...2 might be a bit to much for me these days...

They are a good ball to hit TCL,we used to sell a heap of them at the pro shop when I worked in there...Not saying your old mate but they are a softer ball for more senior players and high hcpers,if I remember they are about 80/90 compression whereby the Titleist pro Vs are about 100 compression which suit low markers and the pros...
I have about 2 dozen Bridgestone TTEO soft that Ive had for 2 years, they are good to hit,but I dont know if they are still available hahaha, they seem to update golf balls every year and name them something else...Srixon soft feel in the green packet are a very popular ball good to hit....on Callaway, they used to make a Supersoft ball they were great as well....hope this info helps you mate and enjoy your game...
Thanks mate, that’s great feedback. i was meant to have a hit on the weekend but didn’t eventuate. Never played Bridgestone. I’m a high handicapper. Playing of 18 atm.

I thought you were going to say your handicap is your clubs, a common problem with a lot of golfers 🤣
I just had a look at the Golf Fails videos you put on here 😍🤣😂🤣👍🤣😂
Thanks Cobar.
A darn good larf which is something we could all do with a lot more of, rather than some of those serious, pompous, disingenuous dudes on here that 🤔 they know everything and of course are always rite.

Bridgestone have a good reputation....stick to the one you feel most comfortable hitting...18 hcp is pretty good...honest golfer...

G'day Cobar I had a few games of golf with a couple of mates a few years back but didnt really enjoy it and I'm not interested in playing now.
But thanks for getting this golf site going, as it lets us see a different side of peoples personalities which is 'really interesting'.
A good break away from the dour [of which there is only a couple thank goodness] types on the footy threads.
I hope you have been a good boy 😉 and done all the recommended xercises 👍 so you can get back on the various courses, playing well and having fun with all the golf dudes on here.

I’m very average player but enjoy it , I’m still using my 1974 Bruce Devlin clubs , I just removed the woods for metal ones about 6 years ago , had to the guys gave me to much crap , handicap 28

I've just finished watching Ash Bardy win her matchplay event in the Icon Golf Series.
What a beautiful person she presents herself as.
She is an incredible athlete having excelled at cricket, golf, and of course tennis.
She has to one of the best Australian ambassadors of sport in post war times.

I had to take a picture of this on my phone of the TV so apologize for the bad quality.
This guy was wayward with his tee in his Icon Series matchplay..... there's hope for us yet. 🤔

He also plays off +1 and did not miss a putt against Ricky Ponting and was 4 under off the stick after 10 holes, even after this wayward tee shot..

If that scene was taken with a professional camera it would have won an award I reckon. The staue in the back 👍

THE OPEN
Cam Smith is equal second in the 150th Golf Open at St Andrews.
Several Aussies are going good but Cam looks impressive.
He's second after 14.

Had 38 points at Belmont GC on Sunday off 18 handicap. Left plenty of putts out there too
That's good bro.
As they say "drive for show and putt for dough"
Anything above 36pts regardless of handicap is good, well done 👏

The most unlikely looking sportsman in the world.
Ive heard reports he has been offered 150million to join the rebel league?
He is killing it.
With a flick of the pen of course he'd take it. He can still play in other tours out the USPGA like defending his Open title.
LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman has just revealed that Tiger Woods has knocked back $1bn to join. OMG 🤑
