Scott crashes with a 9 over 4th round
Aussies - Scott +6 finished T12
-Day +8 finished T23
Leishman + 12 finished well back
Davis +22 finished about 65th
Both Cam Smith and Min Woo missed the cut

Basically only Scott and Day performed reasonably well on a ridiculous difficult course
 
Feel for Adam Scott, Mr nice guy of world golf, he had a real chance today but the final nine holes killed him. In reflection it was a massive effort to be even in contention given the difficulty of the course and standard of competition. Just hope he can carry his form over to the UK for the Open in a months time

Yes Adam Scott is a nice guy but most of the guys are
Scott a father of 3 ,Day a father of 5 both well liked by all their competitors on the PGA tour. As is the younger Cam Davis and Min Woo is a more colourful character. Karl Vilips is a new Aussie star of the future .
Feel a bit sorry for a few others like Endicott, Smylie ,etc battling it out in the 2nd division Korn Ferry tour where the money is peanuts compared to the PGA tour but if they finish top 25 they get promoted next year
Re LIV guys they sold themselves for huge money like 100 mill usd +
Good luck to them each to his own but I don't really care much about LIV golf
The not so nice guys on tour are few but 2 well known ones are Reed and Hatton

In my past life,pre retirement I had dealings with lots of top sportsmen from all sports, Adam Scott was right up near the top of the tree when it came to good guys and there were a few golfers near the bottom. The great white fish finger was at the bottom of the pile, IMO a massive tosser.

Like you LIV does very little for me, but It would be very hard to say no when your offered more money than you every thought was possible.

Totally agree regards Norman
When Kerry Packer saved cricket it was different .Test players on $30 day etc
When Greg Norman " saved" golf it did not need saving it was just Saudi trying to whitewash their past( and present )
Personally I like both Scott xand Day
Just wish Scott would not use the long putter
Just wish Day would stop wearing stupid clothing
I think MinWoo could be a future No 1 if can be a little less erratic
Imo making the No 1 in the world is the ultimate goal
Scott got there for 7 weeks
Day got there for 51 weeks
Problem is it might take a while for Scheffler to vacate the pinnacle
