Good Coach any Ideas?

But i also think brad fittler could be a good coach for us. He knows a lot about the modern game and the style that its played.

Also jones from the nyc. He has completely turned our team around from last season.
 
I'd definitely give Jones a go at first grade assistant. Same as what they did with Gentle but Gentle was assistant pre 2008 so I think he always had his mind on First Grade.
 
If he has to stay one more year ,I think Sheens should give us some hope by changing his coaching staff.
The players need some fresh ideas . Bennett did it @ the end of 2005 and the Broncs won the comp in 2006

Hazzam goal kicking coach.
 
I get the feeling Gentle is being groomed for the Head Coach role after Sheens is ready to move on or punted.

However as i stated in a previous thread i'd be inclined to go with Stephen Kearney with Matthew Johns as his Assistant.

Look, I gotta ask the Mrs, but at this stage I think I'll be right to take over with _Crouching Tiger_ as my assistant and _Staks_ as the Strength and Conditioning Coach .

1st training session will be at Wally & Ossies Pizzeria at Campsie, followed by an all night 'bonding' session at the Court tavern at Campbelltown which then would blend into lunch at Sataysia in Balmain (to satisfy the teams pretty boys).

I'd want changes at Board level as well.

Probably bring in Smeg and Ink at board level because they would know how to do the corporate box - Crown Lager, prawns and quiche thing on game day.

Skando will be Captain and I am yet to discuss this with _Crouching Tiger_ but I think Fitzy will be club captain.

Also I require a 'rider' on game day consisting of Kirin Lager and pumpkin seeds. :supporter:

If my Mrs says Im not available i'd go for Folksey. Unlike the Fonz, Folkesy missed the semi's once in 11 years.
 
Sounds like Gentle is in the clubs plans. Jones seems to have a good football brain although some of the 20's have been unhappy under him this season, not sure whether that's due to his coaching methods or they just need to change their attitude.
 
I hope it's not Gentle. Jones I'd be happy with. He worked as FG assistant at Parramatta for some time after working his way up from the juniors. If he's produced guys like Mullaney, Lui, Fifita, Woods, Dwyer, Schirnack, Hyland etc then he's definitely worth some consideration.

Geo I have you penciled in at this stage as taking over from me as the Forum Grouch. I need the odd ' Sack Bug!!! ' or ' Bugger Off ' thread happening. I perform best under pressure. Either that or we can get you in as the guy who hoses down the visitors dressing room with water minutes before they arrive. :smiley: . . . . . . leave it with me.

He missed them in 2002, 2005 and 2008, maybe a few more as well.

That said, I do rate Folkes as a coach.
 
Craig Field he done fine with the Wagga club Brothers as captain/coach.
