Good one Refs

Haynes is usually very well suited to our style of game, he likes a quick up tempo game and lets a few minor things go, on monday he night he tried to get Manly to clean up their act but once the penalty count started to climb he panicked and when the score started to blow out he decided to let them do what they do best and slow the play the ball speed down and stand offside. That shut down our backline and got them back into the match. Really if we were allowed the quick play the balls and the quick spreads early in the second half the score could have been anything.

Anyway happens every year the closer we get to the big games the more the refs let anything go in the play the ball, we a need a ref with the guts to award 25 penalties to 1 if thats what it takes to get the message through to the likes of Manly

one thing i noticed on 4 or 5 occasions is manly players getting up to play the ball n then pushing the tigers markers. what the hells going on there? i think the tigers players should either 1) take a dive after being pushed forcefully or 2) retaliate n bash the person playing the ball. both 1 and 2 will win us a penalty.
instead the markers gets pushed and are effectively taken out of the next play without being ready to attempt to tackle the hooker.
it happened that often during the manly game that the refs would have been blind to miss em.
look what happened when sandow bashed ennis. sandow kicked out on the full, ennis came up to him n made minimal contact with his head/neck after the kick. sandow went up to him n bashed him. souths got a penalty where the ball landed. had sandow not reacted, dogs would have had the feed 40m out from the souths line.
it was good 2 c someone finally give it to that grub. he does it every game n gets away with it. he finaly copped a punch to the head n got penalised as well.
