Glad to see Sirro back. Halfway and Gavet will be back after the bye also.

Can anyone update me on how Fiagatusa has been going so far? Was impressed with what little I saw of him in NYC.

And Lovett on top of that?

Had none of our NSW up games televised in NZ this year. Cheers

NYC boys are struggling a little bit with the step up, more the physicality of Reggies as NYC is all speed with little defence. Andy is slowly building back his confidence and getting better every game, was floored by Wade Graeham earlier in the year, Lovette and Brown are slightly on the soft side also. Full year in NSW CUP will do them a world of good. I mentioned how Rowe was struggling with the contact before his debut in 1st grade and has carried this into the top grade, hasn't been able to put his body on the line to stop a single try.

Thanks mate, really appreciate the insight. Who would be first cab off the rank in terms of the NYC graduates, the most first grade ready I guess?

The BEST thing that has happened at the Tigers is going back to using the Reggies as the stepping stone into the top grade. In the past for example with our 2012 winning NYC team, alot of these kids were fast tracked into 1st grade to cover injuries and it was a shock to them, physically and mentally they weren't ready for the week in week out grind of 1st grade and then most of them sustained short to long term injuries i.e Nofoaluma, Koroibete, Sue, Sirronen etc. it is only now these boys including Inosesio, Fine, Akauola, Luani are starting to find their feet in the top grades. Of our current crop they will have to serve their time under Fletch until next year so that they are better equip for the step up when the call comes. They have plenty to work and improve on which is exciting for us Tigers fans. Brown fades in and out of games, defensively he is very slow laterally in the middle and misses quite a few tackles when the quicker men start working the middle. Also gives away a few penalties and when fatigued makes a few mistakes, will get better into the second half of the season. Lovette is a big kid who is playing lock, is sound defensively but lacks grunt in the tackles to halt themoment of the ball carriers. With the ball he is structured but again lacks the ability to break tackles or offload. Will also improve as the season goes. Rowe as i've mentioned lacks 1st grade contact whether in defence or offensively but again was thrown into the deep end but improving. Fiagatusa has come a long ways from 2012, only played a handful of games then due to the calibre of of his team mates but took his opportunity with the 2013 NYC team and has't looked back. I love his attitued on and off the field. leaves nothing in the tank when ever he is on, throws his body in defense and with every hitup. Cops a beating but keeps going back for more lol. His heart is definitely bigger than his afro!! lol :sign:

thanks so much for info you must see a lot of the nsw cup matches like to get more if you have time to put them on here I live on the mid north coast so I don't see any nsw cup unless on fox thanks again

yaeh good to see Moses step up, his skills will be good enough but the physicality will test him as it did when Malone played Mounties.Hope he goes wel , has to start playing men so we will see how he goes. i cannot see how they keep naming that Corey Brown , have watched him numerous times, poor in a lot of aspects for rugby league , should go back to rugby where he was only mediocre at best.

Let's at least truthfully comment…. Rowe has indeed stopped quite a few tries being scored as the last defender.
