Great season for the Wests Tigers

Just wanted to thank the boys for a great year.

They overcame a mountain of obstacles this year with injuries and questions over some players futures, but I thought the effort throughout the year was second to none. We gave 100% and for that I congratulate the players.

So well done to all the players, coaching staff and everyone else onvolved.

Bring on 2012!!!

Had a chat with Chris Lawrence at the Sackville this arvo and among things he articulated the frustration they had with their own performance.
Like all the other players there tonight Chris was a champion bloke.
He told me his horse in race 3 at Warwick Farm tomorrow is at least worth something modest each way.

Just a couple of decisions cost us a win against the Warriors in my opinion.

With several minutes to go leading up to half-time, we seem to set up for a field goal, rather than keep the pressure on by dribbling the ball into the in-goal and winning a drop-out. The way we were playing and the Warriors were playing, we could have sneaked another try.

Everyone has commented on the "run the ball on the fifth" with less than four minutes to go.
