I am sooooo proud of how well our beaten up Heroes played this year. Considering the injuries and the fact we were rated an outside chance to make the semis i recon we have a Huge future. :sign:
 
Feeling quite confident of the future of the Tigers. We are in good hands, absolutely proud that the boys came this far. The Tigers crowd was immense, they were by far the loudest till the unfortunate end.

Although I am a little depressed, what am I going to do for 6 months??

I couldnt be more prouder. Backs against the wall. Worn out. Tired. The boys have showed heart the whole entire year. They played for eachother & They played for us. They gave us the most exciting, heartbraking & memorable moments of all time. I love you wests tigers. and i am a proud Tiger for life !!
 
Played well above my expectations, I thought we'd make the eight at the start of the year, but i never expected we'd come within a bee's dick of making the GF. Unlike 06, 07, 08 and 09, I can positively say the likes of Marshall, Farah, Gibbs, Heighno and Lui all improved significantly this year. The way we played in the finals was exceptional, I know we lost 2 games, but TBH those 3 games we played were all 50/50 type games, one of which went our way. Now that we showed we can win those crucial games in the regular season, we should be looking to proceed to further finals series in the years to come, and not be complacent like we were after 2005, the last time we were in the finals.
 
It was a great season.

Our squad is close to the best in the league. We have two great players in Benji and Robbie. Two other playmakers who could go up several levels in Moltzen and Lui. A forward pack full of gun players and some great outside backs.

On top of that we showed a lot of heart and grit this year.
 
Lets make up season highlights of every round. I'll start.
Rd 1: A great comeback against Manly and Lote scores with his first touch back in the NRL! 26-24
Lets go round by round. C'mon guys! What are your season highlights?!?!
 
1\. Playing busted most of the times!

2\. Missing first choice halfback since Rd 5

3\. Missing first choice FB for the entire finals series and even before that we never really had a proper fullback.

4\. Missing the 2nd most try scorer for the WHOLE SEASON.

AND STILL MAKING THE PRELIMS!!

Great Season indeed!

Agree with all the above comments - there are 2 things that I just wished had of happened this year
1\. Our defence from last night - was like that all year
2\. We hadn't stuffed our chance to have the week off against the Rooters - I think we would have made it (probably against the Dragons)

All the same it was very satisfying having your team in the penultimate game of the year - not having your season over at about round 18
 
It feels like a moral victory/premiership to me for the club.

I feel like we were the best at the right end of the season despite not playing yesterday.

Both yesterdays teams were very very lucky to be there, if certain dickheads in pink did their jobs properly

Very proud & satisfied personally, I know the boys will feel they fell one short, hope they get the vibes though from the supporters that this thread is pushing
 
Pretty much bang on Ink.

Hopefully the experience of a very tough finals campaign will steel them all for a tough off season and use 2010 as a building block for next season
