GREAT WIN!!

This has to be the toughest game we played this season, their forwards were giving it to us all night and we returned the favour! I think Rowe did exceptionally well at fullback and hope he is fit for next week, I believe we have a 10 day turn around so Farah and Rowe might be right to play! :sign:

Gritty ugly win based on good D.

Kicking game & 5th tackle options need work but a wins s win.

Absolutely stoked…that plonker ref tried to make it hard for us

Yeah that ref gave all the 50/50's to the Cows.

The Cows have a very strong pack who pride themselves on physical defence. They defended their line heroically tonight and were apart of an extremely tough exchange with our boys.

We got them in the end through relentless charges and bone rattling hits. Our pack are extremely impressive…they just keep coming and work for and off each other superbly.

The cowboys blew some chances tonight , we were great in the forwards but our attack was very stuttered

Can't believe that Austin didn't try and take the line on wider of the ruck and try and involve Simona more often

We got the two points and we defended well , but we will need to improve 50% to beat Parra

Agreed Stryker. That was a massive battle that we, in the end won.

great win !! we really showed great defence on our line especially only letting them in once. but the attendance was embarrassing only 6500\. for a team thats winning we should be getting 13k at least

Great win, and again against the refs
And without Tedesco, Sue, Sironen, against full strength Cowboys.
For mine Farah was the best, Woods and Gavet close second/third.
All forwards played well, Galloway, Seumanufagai, Taupau, Thompson, Fulton, Aquila.
Simona and Nofoaluma were dangerous, Lawrence, Richards and Rowe were solid.
Austin deserved to keep his place, Brooks can certainly play better than tonight.

Go Tigers :sign:

A year ago would you even imagine saying that lol. Parra are doing just as well as we are and will be very hard to beat. The game is gonna be a ripper, Match of the round IMO.

that's one of the best games that blair has played since he came to the club. austin played well but I think we missed anastas kicking on the 5 th tackle .how well are the forwards playing this has to be the best pack the wests tigers have had since the jv started they are so hard the bench 4 are as good as any 4 in the comp .just hope Robbie is ok he leadership is so great

The thing I love at the moment is that we show someting new every week. Defence tonight was outstanding.

If we keep improving at the rate we have been we all have some very good times ahead.

i seriously doubt farah will come even close to playing next monday, he looked in all sorts of pain out there.

great win though, if we can back it up next while missing tedesco, farah, anasta, siro and halatau i think we could be a smokey for the top 5 or 6 this year!!

luani for farah obviously, its gonna be a tough one on monday. half our spine gone.

I watched the Parra game tonight. They have improved but they are a few classes below. The Roosters had the game on a plate in the first 15\. They were making metres at ease. But failed to capitalise. Doesnt help them that Pearce is Pearce and Maloney has been poor all year.

Expect us to beat Parra and will be disappointed if we dont. If we play up the middle we will be too IMHO.

even with a spine of 1\. Kurtis (maybe), 6\. Anasta, 7\. Brooks, 9\. Luani??

If we play up the middle, yes. Parra struggled in the ruck tonight. Our forward pack should relish that. If the forward dominate, that spine can convert.

If Robbie is out I'd like to see Austin at hooker; he has the first grade experience to make a fair replacement even though he may not have played hooker before. I do worry about too many debs in the side.
