9-1 penalty count and 32% possession suggests we made them pay every time we had the ball. I hope to watch the game during the week and form my own opinion on the game but when that much possession goes against you you can expect to leak points.

I wouldn’t get to high an expectation based on the stats. Some of the trys they let in were still very soft. A great effort though to come back and win from being 32-18 down with 12 minutes to go. Nofo’s last try was the highlight for me. One of the best team trys you’ll see.

Coming back against a side that has not won in 2 months is inspiring.... NOT !

Get a grip, winning a game like that with basically nothing going our way is amazing. I’m like 90% sure we only touched the ball once in the first 10-15 mins

Yeah like I said just going on stats I think it's a pretty decent outcome. You would expect a team who caned you in the possession and penalty count to cross the strip a quite a few times. To outscore them just on those two stats alone is a positive outcome.

That being said I am yet to watch the game to get context. I heard one patch of the game on the wireless where they basically isolated Lucy and strolled through so I gather at least one of the Manly tries wasn't hard earned.

Where were you that famous night?

Doueihi - kicking the winning goal

Me - on the couch wondering whether to laugh or cry.

Forum - in meltdown

Reynolds, Packer, MCK - on the spit bridge

The one where turbo strolled over untouched through a yawning gap, that was under 10s oztag defense

I think that was the one.

The best teams to win against are Manly and roosters.
Roosters are next.... we might need to wait awhile

Kid you not, it wasn't till the 14th minute that we had our second set of six.

I just can’t get too excited about this win. Although a cause for celebration in that only had 16 missed tackles, maybe? Regardless, Manly were only a missed goal from a record points score for the season.
Very pleasing to see some WT players considered for “team of the week “ voting for a change.

You might want to keep a sick bag nearby with the number of references to $BW during our game. It may turn your stomach.

Yeah, great, looking forward to that.

I know we need to address our discipline as every week we give away 8 to 10 Penalties consistantly...
Maybe Madge needs to call the other NRL coaches or Ref's and ask what they do as there discipline is excellent and never give penalties away... Its Amazing how fit they must be to be never offside, never have hands in the play the ball, never any dirty plays, no crushers or illegal strips... Its just perfection.....

**All jokes aside though we do need to look at ourselves but I believe the club needs to ask the refs what happening because every week we get hard done by the refs and that alone takes energy away and hard to win games.. Not whinging but asking for a fair go..
>**
I will give our players credit though as they don't stay down for penalties unlike Eels players.

Dominate in defence and things will change

You say that Ink, but even in the few games we have dominated in defence this year we’ve still been caned in the six again counts. Manly are also a team that are usually on the wrong end of the penalty count in matches, but somehow they were near perfect the other night.

Something is definitely not right with us and there at least needs to be a discussion had between Madge and Annesley or Sutton or whoever to get some clarification, otherwise we’ll just keep having to push it uphill in every game and we just don’t have the talent as a team to do that.

Only another 4 weeks and we will see them in the Finals.
