No thanks the bloke is a pig and he is soft… Milks penalties worse than Soward. If I were an EPL manager, I'd hire him just to teach players how to simulate...

While off field stuff usually dont bother me, things like Lui and what Bird did are two very low acts….but please explain how he's soft?
I think he's a pretty good player, its all hes got going for him though

Bird aint soft…if it wasnt for his ridiculous attempts at milking penalties I would quite like the way he plays footy.
But I agree with choc...he is a dog.

Pot calling the kettle black there…

Best outcome would have been if they each knocked seven shades out of each other.

I can picture it now Watmough punches Bird in the stomach and Bird would go down holding his face :unamused:

He's probably more of a dog for milking penalties on the field.

Off though… Well anyone who smacks their missus about is soft...

He runs the ball hard as well. I like him when he doesnt puss out and try to penalty pull. He has been good for the Blues just about every game he has ever played.

He certainly grows an extra leg when running out for the Blues - that's why I predicted he would be man of the match in another thread. It's almost guaranteed when NSW win. That said, Farah must've been close to getting it tonight.

For sure he is good. Wears his heart on his sleeve and plays hard the whole game. In my opinion Uate is the ugly. Cost us game 1 and was hopeless tonight. He has to go but I'm sure they won't change the team.

idk how he kicks, but i would put him at 5/8 and carney at 7\. our attack atm is horrible. pearce offers nothing. before i used to think, pearce is a controlling halfback, but i dont think he is. he was nowhere to be seen in the last 10 minutes. a controlling halfback would be there turning players inside out and making sure the forwards are running hard on to the ball HE DELIEVERS.

bird would make a great running 5/8\. he would put the defense in two minds EVERYTIME he has the ball no doubt. if he has the no.6 on his back, defenders are more likely to fall for his dummies.

just my opinion though. dont see it happening.

Bird is a filthy scum bag

Dirty cheap shot merchant always playing for penalties

He is a good player don't get me wrong but he doesn't need all the crap in his game

Farrah 66 tackles no errors set up 1 try. Bird 29 tackles 3 errors man of the match.

Its not all about stats, some of those tackles from Bird were big ones that forced errors and I can't recall all his errors but I do remember 1 of them wasn't his fault Carney or Pierce shouldn't have thrown the pass
