Matt Groat has been cleared and is available this weekend. moors may drop off bench.

I am glad the kid is ok.

Would prefer him to come off the bench in State Cup though if he is to play at all this weekend

It could well be on the money. RLW Mole confirmed it on Twitter earlier.

BREAKING: Matt Groat passed a spelling test. May be late addition to @WestsTigers team to meet @PenrithPanthers on Sunday.

Imo he should be spelled, like smeg maybe at most bench in reggies.

We dont need another Simon Dwyer and I know its drawing a long bow, but safety first paramount here
I really dont have much faith in our medicos

The club knows what its doing… If he is fit, there is no reason not to play him considering he will get a week off next week.

Not worth the risk - if he's ok that's great - still have the week off.
Junior Moors desires a run for more than one week -
let Matt Groat come back if his form in NYC/State Cup warrants it

99% chance he will play.

Any thoughts of him being apprehensive after such a nasty hit are out the door - he wants to play.

That's terrible. His long term health should be paramount here. His form also dictates that he should not be playing

Our medical staff would be stupid to let him play.

Also has form doesn't warranted NRL selection ahead of Moors.

Like to see him go back to State Cup for a couple of weeks to improve his fitness and defence.

He is a victum of our stupid recruitment policy.

I thought the new policy dictated he had to miss a week if he was unconscious. By all accounts he was snoring. Saw him on wednesday and he looked ok but seriously it's not worth the risk. I hope common sense prevails.

The Sharks fullback did play the week after getting destroyed in Townsville so obviously there is the possibility he could have been fit under all protocols
