Ground Allocations For Games Next Year

gee I hope we're on fire when we play the Steelers at the SCG, it hasn't been kind to us lateLy, I was there when Merritt popped the miraculous Field Goal and I'm glad I missed this years debacle against the same side, we can't afford to lose games against teams below us on the ladder for the sake of tradition, perhaps games like this should be a TBA.

ummm….Cambo gets shafted every year..

Next Year we get the ScumDogs at team that Wests HATE with a passion...

It goes back back back....My first Memory of my Team getting screwed by the establishment goes back to the Mick Liubinskas Affair...for those unfamiliar with the incident here's a rundown..

1975 IT was.... Wests and the Scumdogs drew 7-7, Wests then had the one comp point ripped off US for supposedly breaching a replacement rule ...

In those days reserves could complete the reserve grade match and be a reserve for firsts. Mick Liubinskas was only used for part of the lower grade match, completed it then took his place on the bench in firsts. Mick scored one of the best tries you will ever see right in front of me..the Ball stuck in the ground and Joe Cool followed thro and belted it at us,,,

Canterbury Bankstown Scum Dogs then complained he didnt play the entire match in reserve grade, Wests coach Don Parish argued the rules stated a player must only 'complete' the game, it didnt state where that game must commence.

Wests lost the 1 point, cost them outright 5th, had to play off mid week with Parra and bloody <big>Balmain.</big> THE rest is HISTORY..

I hate them..

WE GET THEM at Campbelltown 1st time in 6 years.. a Sydney team at a traditional FORTRESS and ya wanna switch it to the WestsSFS..

Was the last time we played the dogs at cambo when matt utai knocked it on off the kick off? canterbury scored at the other end costing us the game and a finals spot.

To be fair, we had just kicked off….the ref is with the defensive team on halfway...3 seconds later a fumble ingoal, a very minute one at that from memory... the refs a long way away....touchie shouldve spotted it- they are standing back with the team recievng the kickoff

It wasnt a small knock on though, it looked like an AFL bounce. If the players chasing the kick off saw it you would of thought archer would have or yeah the touh judge or the video ref. Not that it matters much now though

Oh yeah thats right all the players stopped didnt they…though no whistle was blown.
They went 100+ metres in 3 tackles or so?
Got us on the back foot and was unable to stem the flow on
First rule in RL....play the whistle

Nope. Never.

We've only played Brisbane at the SFS on one occasion, the final in 2005.

I'm almost certain we have played the roosters at LO in 2002 i think? We were beaten by 2 points, 14 12 or something like that, poor old Joel Caine took a kick and put a foot on the line giving easts possession to win.
If i recall correctly thats the same game that we scored off a Skandalis bomb?

Yeah a Sunday game at Campbelltown…I think thats the one we had a penalty and could have levelled it but didn't go for the goal? :brick: Bloody Terry Lamb...there were a few of those I think

i remember when we first played the bulldogs as a joint venture at cambo it was full of Bulldog supporters i think the crowd was 19000 and i thought to myself the magpies should of merged with them to be the western bulldogs it would have been a powerhouse and they were next door neighbours
