Taylor should have killed this off straight away Farah starts and we don't run with a second rower at hooker. He is enjoying publicly demoralising Farah and is unfit in my view to be a head coach.
Just shows the blokes character to be continuing with this rubbish.

I hope Farah moves on but I have grown to hate Taylor he is not only a poor coach but a petulant, vindictive child.

If he wants Farah out , then pay him out and stop this crappy game he's playing, Taylor is not smart enough to keep up this charade, he's already proved that,
All he's doing now ( if he leaves Farah on the bench for most of a game ) is wasting one of his best players, thus lessening his chances of even up his win / loss ratio which is diabolical.
Same thing if he plays Halateau at hooker for a lot of minutes.
A hell of a lot of people on here have been complaining that Halateau shouldn't be even in the team as a backup for weeks, As he's not up to first grade any more
Suddenly he probably is expected to start the games,
Going to be interesting how many repeat sets we are going to get from kicks into the goal area, our newly recontracted STAR halves seem to think that we get restarts by belting the ball into the shins of the defenders. Must be a new tactic.

If the club can't pay Farah out, them make use of the talent that we are paying for , and stop making the club a laughing stock
As said today , this is about money , not how good or bad Farah plays. , and I think he's Willplay reserves if Taylor wants to try that little tactic again, and then we will only look like bigger idiots

They can't pay him out for reasons I have pointed out numerous times in the past but can be summarised in two words - salary cap.

So theoretically, we could see a SOO player in NSW Cup because it is not a merit based selection but a means to force him to give up his contract so JT can spend the money on other players.

I'm aware of that Nelson, that's why Taylor should suck it up and play our best players , as much as possible. Not Halateau or an out of position Lock.
Souths must be loving his stupid media comments today,
They are probably praying that they can get at Halateau.

Yes that is quite possibly what they are trying to do, but I doubt that is a decision of the coach alone. There are other people involved at the club like a recruitment manager and a manager of football operations and the like.

They aren't under any obligation to select based on merit, they can play these shenanigans if they want. I don't think it's particularly wise of them but whatever…

Good, then stop saying he should pay him out.

Let's see how they go. I think the idea is to play a real solid pack throughout the game but especially at the start and not let Souths get over the top of us. Then Robbie should be able to come on and add some spark.

I assume that is the reason and this isn't a JT vs Robbie thing.

Farah to have a big game tonight. Will have a point to prove. Really doesn't matter if he starts from bench or has a spell just before half time same diff. He will play 60+ mins most hookers are getting bench time now in the nrl. I think its smart hes not doing the tough stuff in first 20mins can come on nice and fresh and tear the bunnies up the middle. Fingers crossed..

I wonder if that happens will taylor be lauded for the great tactic or will it be seen as being in spite of him?

How does it baffle anyone Farah has been playing and we have been loosing. If Ballin was fit Farah would be in NSW Cup and deservedly so both for his play but more importantly for his attitude and public comments

In reality though we will see Halatau play the first 20 at hooker and the Aloia will go off and Farah on with Halatau moving to the 2nd row. Robbie will im guessing play the last 60 which is as many minutes as he has played most games and as many as he can manage

I'd like to hear nothing at all about it. That isn't going to happen though.

of course he wont…. Robbie hasnt been all that effective tackling this year conceeding alot of metres post contact.

I dont see a problem starting him off the bench, he gets a half time break to keep him fresh, and doesnt have him outmuscled in defence when the arm wrestle is in full swing. Its a win win situation, no need for all the moaning.

we can't pay him out and the club can't force him out ,understand now

I think what you've got to factor in was how poor Soiths were in the first half.

Can't tell if it worked or not when they were such a rabble in the period where Farah was watching from the sidelines. We were on top early on physically, our halves were floating and we were a threat on both edges.

Doubt him starting would've changed anything. Be interesting to see if it continues, and what impact it has when there's a game in the balance without him and he's injected into the match,
