Halves next week

Presuming Benjo doesnt play….

Fulton is a guaranteed starter in the number 6, surely.
He can do enough to get through in attack, if only just, but the big advantage would be having him sit there two off the ruck and completely take Campese out of the game in defense. Without Campese, the Raiders would be half as good.

Just have a look at the last few weeks at the players who have marked Campese.....
Rnd 22 V Penrith - Travis Burns, Rnd 23 V Bulldogs - Ben Roberts, Rnd 24 V Dragons - Jamie Soward, Rnd 25 V Cowboys - Grant Rovelli, Rnd 26 V Broncos - Corey Norman, and then Travis Burns again in the first semi (Panthers).

In fact, the last time the raiders got done was against the Storm in Rnd 22 when he was marked by Inglis (not Finch) and then before that was against the Roosters in about Rnd 18 or something with Braith Anasta.

I think the message is obvious. Shut down Campese defensively and you are half way there!

Provided we get there of course...........

Heard from Joel Caine that Moltzen is ready to go….if that's true give him the #7 and put Lui at #6...then if we beat the Raiders put Benji at #6 and Molzten at #7 with Lui at #14.

If Benji doesn't play, it's Fulton to 5/8 - he is a very talented attacking player and the best tackler we have. Totally agree that he could control Campese from 5/8.

What about Daniella? Who do we have to cover the three-quarters?

i would strongly advise against fulton going to 5/8..you saw what happened last night with his pass and he is our best defender!

Please DO NOT blame Fulton for that loss ..
If any one Chris Heighington should cop that on the chin for that unforgiveable mistake at the base of the scrum ..
Parra would be saying thats Karma , for that kick Burt missed from infront..

I really want Benji to be able to play but if he cant i'm praying for Molz to make a comeback .. He has carved the Raiders at their home ground before ..

yeah bad pass but it came in the 100th minute when fatigue was forcing everyone to make errors.and yes his defence is good which is all the more reason to put him up against campese balmain tiger.

If Marshall is out then I'd move Fulton to 6, or promote Nicholls as he and Lui understand each other's game.

If Dr Crouching is on the money about Marshall only having a bruised/strained medial ligament, then he's a chance of playing with plenty of ice, anti-inflammatory and physio.

surely Nichols would be a better option…..or even Fulton at number 6?

better option than who???

well, a better option than say….Fitzy? I've seen a couple of lists with Fitzy in the starting line-up and then there's a few shifting Robbie....
