Happy Fathers Day

So yesterday my wife and I bought a new house (to be built). This morning my two sons spoilt me with gifts and cooked me brekkie. Then raiders won. Then Tigers won.
Next weekend we celebrate my kids 18th and 21st. Then we move on to Leichhardt on Sunday.
Wow - quite a good couple of weekends I’d say!

Yeah today was just about a perfect Fathers day, spoilt by my daughter, sat in my Tigers jersey drinking Guinness at Panthers and cheered the Raiders home then watched the Tigers get up.

For me. Best day in a long time. Ice cream and pancakes spelling the word dad prepaird by the Mrs...church..... Best old school BBQ including all the food groups, beef chicken, pork seafood cooked by my boys then of course the mighty tigers win.

Oh and my orchids are here to greet spring.


What a day. Don't wake me please.

My son woke me at six so we could be ready to head down the hill to a judo comp at Gordonvale. He did well and finished in a draw. Afterwards a big judo bbq cook up with bacon and egg rolls for a lunch that hit the spot.
Then the drive back up the Gillies to get some chores done in time to watch the win. Followed by some nice pressies and a big Austrian dinner complete with a Kaiser Gugelhupf (my favourite) for desert, baked by my son.
Very nice day.
