Happy officially removing foot from mouth

I don't know about everyone else but if someone had told me 6 weeks go that we would be a chance of being top 4 I would of :laughing: and thought you were :crazy at the end of round 24 . But here we are on the verge of being equal fourth with a win (touch wood) .
So officially need to take my size 12 out of my fat trap
Sorry for doubting you Sheensy and the boys
(Just don't let me down this weekend )
Anyone else need to join me by removing their hairy foot from their mouth ???

Weve only been out of the top eight 5 weeks all year, the first 4 weeks of the season (which means bugger all really) and rd 18
The third 3rd is where you want your momentum

2 months ago the semis looked a long way off

We werent playing with the right attitude and still had a heap of players missing. Half the team didnt know what their futures held and there was a new rumour every 4 hours…..

Since the club finally settled on who was staying and going and Blairs sig was announced the team has gelled. We are peaking at the right time of the year whilst others are struggling.

I wouldnt call it foot in mouth but am very pleasently surprised with how we are playing and the opportunity to grab 4th spot.

i always knew if we got all hands on deck we could give it a shake, however in the middle section of the year it looked like no matter who we had we were going to struggle

When the change in attitude RE our playing style was emerging and some guys got back on the park I new we were coming good. A team that can score a lot of points will always be there abouts plus the injurys killed us and the on going contracual problems, the Coach has had a lot to do with this by giving the boys a new direction and it seems to have worked. In answering the question yes a bit concerned but in saying that have always put my foot in it anyway.

Never doubted our ability at nearly full-strength. But with all the rumours and stories floating about re team harmony and disjointed members not happy with certain factions within the team, I was worried…

When you really look at the way we have defended over the past 18 months, plus you have a guy called Mr 20 Min Marshall in your team, even after a loss you smile and think it will all turn around next week.

Geez I hope it is a dry track... Havent been down since the Melbourne game and I cant wait to get to the game tomorrow. I really want to see us put 60 on those Water Snakes!!!

Ha! I started a thread the week before the cowboys game called " Wests to peak in September ". The thread basiclly said that over the coming weeks were getting some players back from injury and we would keep improving right up to the finals . Also said they Wouk be toasting WTs in September . Nearly every person who commented ridiculed me. :slight_smile:

So far so good , my hairy foot remains firmly on the ground .
